I've seen so many stories of actors saying they kind of forget that it's a puppet because the puppeteers are so good and stay in character so well that the Muppet is just another actor on the set.
There is this whole thing of John Oliver and cookie monster, and how cookie monster stays in character non stop, and Oliver forgot there was a guy under the table. Its brilliant.
Can we please normalize considering being a workaholic as detrimental as any other addiction? I won't even use the term because it's basically a punchline. It damn near killed me and destroyed my marriage yet nobody takes it seriously.

There is nothing that a toddler loves to repeat like a word you don’t want them to learn to say.

The John Oliver and Cookie Monster out-takes are up there as well - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H916EVndP_A

I wonder if the Elmo actor knows to not ever actually say that word, because it might get taken out of context.

Job security like that, you *don't* make mistakes. I'll bet there isn't a moment on stage they aren't carefully watching every word they say.

Muppet bloopers are always amazing because they stay in character through them.

I imagine with working with kids, it helps cut down on the amount of footage they can't use.
