A tornado hit Birmingham, AL overnight. This is what's left of a liquor store that was hit. The tornado took away all the walls and left an entire shelf untouched! Police are now worried about looting.

Most Viral Edit: You all must really like your liquor! Keep drinking and this post will keep looking good!

Another miracle from a just and merciful God

The tornado was no dummy. It took the good shit and left the bullshit liqueurs and mixers.

good to see that even tornados respect the dont drink and drive policy

"Welp__let's get looting!"

At that point, call it a complete loss, stock and all..

Well now I know when a tornado comes.. I need to hide in the shelves.

That's some resilient alchohol/mixers.

Nice, free alcohol

Owners probably gonna write it all off to insurance anyway so loot up

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looting? Man, your house just got destroyed, take a bottle. We cool.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Quick! Gotta box it all up and take it to the precinct for "safe keeping."

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Saw in the news that state officials destroyed all the booze that was left. Said they couldn't verify that it wasn't contaminated.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kudos to the creators of those shelves

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why worry about looting? Insurance will take care of it.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

probably a law against selling merch that's been in a disaster.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

The cops are there to prevent the insurance company loosing more money.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

The cops are there to enforce the law*

Was it a "minor" tornado?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Police worried they will have too much competition with looters"

It's good to see that tornadoes respect peoples' need to be alcoholics, in Alabama

I'm from Tornado Alley and this right here is why these things are just creepy, I've seen taken church walls but left the pews and chairs..

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'd take a bottle. Not because of the opportunity just because I'd need a fucking drink and their register probably doesn't exist.

8 years ago | Likes 120 Dislikes 6

is- isn't that the same thing?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Take a bottle, leave a $50.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

I'd leave an IOU.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

well whats even the big matter about looting consuming goods, I always thought they get thrown away when the shop is rebuild

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Ohh 'wooooooo' yeah yeah I'm a tornado it's what I *hic* what I do. Fuck you man, you n' your sirens."

It's ok, most of that shelf is shitty mixers.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

There's a whole other shelf of what looks like tequila

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I was hoping someone would notice this!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If I saw that before the cops did there would be half a shelf left.

8 years ago | Likes 122 Dislikes 4

Perhaps there were originally 2 shelves left untouched.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It all insurance anyway you're helping by taking what wasn't destroyed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same here. Shelves are useful. Hopefully someone would take the alcohol first so I can easily take the shelf.

8 years ago | Likes 63 Dislikes 0

Of course I'd report to the cops there's a quarter shelf left.

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Good on you to tell them about the dozen bottles

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

yeah, even though it's only 6 bottles it still needed reporting. glad he did the right thing.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It's a shame only one bottle survived

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

*drinking last bottle* What, this one is mine.

You didn't hear the sirens? They blared all day yesterday. Granted no one expects sirens in June.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did hear the sirens all day, but didn't hear anything about a tornado touching down

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0
