Her single day record is 24.2 miles on trail. This is her on The Long Trail in Vermont where he mud ate her paws raw by day 4.

Shes a big fan of car rides, unless someone tries to sit in her seat. She’s a bona fide front seat dog.

Late for posting on National Dog Day about my best friend. I got Copper when she was 5 weeks old, deployed when she was 5 months old, and came home to a very abused little chonker who flatlined from a drug overdose—don’t trust a boyfriend/girlfriend with your dog when you deploy. I made a promise to never leave her side, get her back in shape, and never let anything bad happen to her again. Been back in the states for about 2 years now, I’m getting out of the Army to take better care of her (in one month!!), and we get outside all the time! She’s a few bullets short of a full magazine, but damn she’s still the best dog I could’ve asked for. If you have an active lifestyle that can support the most loyal and hyper dogs out there check out The Australian Cattle Dog Rescue Association. Too many people buy them for the beautiful blue or red coats then surrender them when they realize this is a dingo not an apartment dog.
