Well they already made huge continuity mistakes in the first ninety min. so why not make some scientific mistakes as well.

Klingon's didnt have cloaks, There was zero holographic tech, Force fields were not used until the STNG, Beaming tech was still being

...developed. Warp was limited to less than 7. Ican continue but the problem isnt the cannon th show is inconsistent with itself

I would argue that just because we didn't see the tech in TOS doesn't mean it wasn't invented. The holographic stuff is a great point/1

There was an episode of TOS specifically about the Klingons receiving cloak tech from the Romulans.

It seems to be more of a prequel to the 09's Abrams film more than anything.

They have said specifically that it is Prime Time Line not 09' Abrams due to license arrangements.

Its pretty but so is GoT and we have all seen how badly that show has turned. You have to have a story that makes sense first.
