Aaand history repeats itself

Nice theory but I'm sure current security measures are more than adequate and I'm not sure which army is going to come knocking on his door.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh cool. He really does idolize hitler and is playing all the greatest hits

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, Hitler did dine on a bullet in his bunker, so can history repeat itself again, please?

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"coincidence"

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, I think ballroom is the proper term here. He will be dancing on all our graves soon.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cool, cool. Can we just skip to the part where he fucking kills himself in said bunker already? I'm so tired of him existing without consequences

5 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

So where does he hide when his bunker is under construction, asking for a friend

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In a normal universe? He wouldn't need to hide at all. Because he'd be in jail from all the crime. Or, if he was a normal President, worst case he'd just do what the Secret Service told him because that's their job to know these things.

But this orange cuntsicle wants everything gilted like a fascist live-laugh-love orgasm.

The problem... well one of the many problems... with Trump is that he is so basic and surface-level, people simply can't bring themselves to believe that he could possibly be so petty and self-involved that he'd tear down a nationally listed building without permission JUST to build a stupid-ass ballroom that nobody but him really cares about. There HAS to be more to it. An upgrade to the secret bunker! Something! Not just a ballroom FFS!

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If it comes to the point that they need to retreat to this bunker, then just weld the doors shut, pour cement into the access ways, and rebuild our democracy atop their self-imposed tomb. Problem solved.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, there is a PEOC bunker under the east wing. It has been used by G. W. Bush after the 9/11 attacks and by Donald Trump during the George Floyd protests.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Remember when Trump cowered in that bunker due to street protests distant from the WH? What a man Trump is. He is probably tearing down the east wing to eliminate all vestige of that incident.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Very Interrresting!

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh right, let's speedrun it then, need to get to the equivalent of 30th April 1945 ASAP.

5 months ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Yes, let's speedrun bombing america to rubble

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

Trump gonna love his new ball room.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

not enough neck vagina

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

all this aside, it would be really finny if something "bunker worthy" happened during this deconstruction. watching a bunch of incompetent SS carry trump through the rubble to get to a freshly exposed entrance would be fantastic photo ops

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

noooo I left a typo in my post. *funny, not finny

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you mean secret service or schutzstaffel? Is there a difference anymore?

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I don't like the Hitler thing but I will agree that Trump is probably going to get thrown out.

These gerrymandering initiatives aren't as simple as rigging the election, Trump has a specific reason to not want midterms to happen, he'll lose majority in the House and Senate, and Democrats are going to turn out for midterms and '28. They did in 2018, and in 2020, so we'll probably see more of the same.

5 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The Democrats always fight best from the back foot, and after 2 more years of this hell, I'm sure the actual silent majority will turn out and vote.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd just like to point out just before the Watergate scandal floodgates opened, Kissinger fucked off to Israel to facilitate peace in the Middle East.

Vance AND Rubio have fucked off to Israel to facilitate peace in the Middle East as Johnson's running out of excuses not to seat the latest member and kick open the Epstein floodgate.

It's a small hope, but it is a hope.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I dunno if you can credit Kissinger with facilitating anything related to peace. He was really only good at facilitating war crimes

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its more the fact he straight up ran across the world to get out of the way of the shit avalanche. Here's hoping Vance and Rubio are doing it for the same reason.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can loan out a Walther PPK if needed. No cost, just let me have it back after.

5 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Too big for his hands, needs something smaller.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A lot of people would take offense at offering him such a quick way out.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe a kolibri?

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Let me guess. These fuckwits lost the code to get in the bunker, didn't they?

5 months ago | Likes 91 Dislikes 2

Hopefully once locked inside

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who had this thought.

5 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Of course not, they know right where the code is. It's in the bunker

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seriously? It's 1-2-3-4-5. Just like he uses on his luggage.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

it's that or "admin"

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Dude, you don't need a tinfoil hat when you're saying things that everyone knows.

5 months ago | Likes 119 Dislikes 4

You might look stylish doing it tho, depending on the design of said hat.

5 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This guy knows.

5 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

I want to be friends with this dude.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There's more: /gallery/sL8yw0R

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thanks for these. Also LOL, I unintentionally copied your comment on that post.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Cool. So the Epstein Ballroom is going to be right above a concealed bunker. How appropriate.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Some of this is probably true but there's no need to expand the bunker. It's fully furnished as is. One of the most luxurious bunkers in the world.

Although he probably does like the symbolism of having a ballroom over his bunker like his hero did.

5 months ago | Likes 146 Dislikes 3

Like you said, some of it's probably true. And i'm concerned with the track record of investors

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There was also no need to refurbish the Oval Office, but Trump prefers a certain level of tackyness.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Putting 15 dollar Amazon decoration on the wall is a far cry from building or expanding a bunker.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's actually not that weird. Every president is given a budget to redecorate the Oval Office and any staff offices they feel need it, it's one of the 'perks' of the job to redesign things to suit your own aesthetic. It's just that until tRump those redecorations were usually tasteful and modernising, not tacky 1790s French royalty.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yeah but does it have golden toilets? Not yet.

5 months ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Wtf is up with him and shitting? If he were a fictional character, I'd swear the thematic analogy was getting a bit heavy-handed.

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Came here to say they needed to expand the bunker for all his gold painted bullshit.

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I can't wait for the day when they strip out and throw away all that gawdy crap on the sidewalks.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Simpler explanation - they're going to build a big dumb ball room for like $1 million and grift the rest.

5 months ago | Likes 581 Dislikes 5

make it $1.2m. gold spray paint prices increasing in the dc-area nowadays.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1mil buys a lot of gold spray paint

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Simpler explanation - by going ahead with the demolition before any approval process, this gives Trump a complete out when Congress re-opens and any consequences ultimately occur. As it was an illegal demolition/construction (Also explaining why they're going ahead in late October in D.C. with something like this), obviously the contractors can't expect payment and indeed, DOJ has filed a lawsuit against them.

Classic Trump with Contractor shit.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Seriously. He grifts and gets bribes at Mar a Lago, he wants to have a spot to do it at in D. C.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sounds about right, how else can you spent over a quarter billion dollar on a fucking ballroom?

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And yet a rural 2 bedroom house on 1 acre would cost me half a million. Make it make sense.

5 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

At that point you're not as much buying a house as you are buying the land it's on.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And it will be built with flypaper and plaster of paris.

5 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 1

Insulated with used diapers.

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Could be both.

5 months ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 1

True.

5 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Simpler explanation: Trumps handlers needed to give him a make-work project to keep him out of their hair, and reminded him about the time that Obama put up a tent.

5 months ago | Likes 76 Dislikes 2

"The President in particular is very much a figurehead—he wields no real power whatsoever. His job is not to wield power but to draw attention away from it." -Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

@ZaphodBBX, you're up, Buddy

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Reminds me of those fake villages they built in parts of Europe to keep dementia patients busy with the tasks they were familiar with so they didn't get into trouble. Our president is an octogenarian former real estate developer who can barely form a coherent sentence anymore. The shoe certainly fits.

5 months ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

or the old white man who is worried about his legacy wants to add the words "trump ballroom" to the white house ensuring his legacy lasts forever

5 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So, he’ll tear down Roosevelt’s east wing. The act itself ads a real temporary feel to the project. They’re expanding the bunker.

5 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The fact Blasphemy Barbie the Press Secretary said the Ballroom is the President's number one priority says it all really. He's become his dad. Give him a busy-work project while the others actually run the stuff.

5 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I think Trump is a very simple man, but he's being used by people not so simple and who would do this just because they're getting away with it.

5 months ago | Likes 142 Dislikes 2

yup. it not illegal to get overpaid for bad work. Like the My Pillow guy, the smart people winding him up were never caught holding the bag

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm willing to ascribe a lot to the shady people behind Trump, but grifting money through construction projects? Nah, that's Trump's bread and butter.

5 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

In addition to being simple, Donald Trump is also an evil racist piece of shit and the world will celebrate his death.

5 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Exactly, but I feel they are all pedophiles, only a pedophile would be ok with letting one run the country

5 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

No, it’s so that he’s remembered.

If the US survives this, in 50 years they’ll be reading about it in textbooks and it’ll be a thing… “In 2025 President Trump added onto the Whitehouse.”

It’s so that he has a “legacy.”

That’s how narcissistic people work… anything to remember them by when they die.

5 months ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Looking forward to the future demolition of said ballroom and restoration of the original East Wing

5 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

"... Which was later renamed by President Ocasio-Cortez to the 'Dolly Parton Memorial Ballroom' after the hero of World War 3."

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Overall I agree, just one tiny remark: the urge to leave a legacy behind is a human urge deeply rooted in most of our minds, not just something narcissists do. This can manifest in many ways, the most common of which is through your offspring. Others do so writing, creating art, building something... I guess I'll add 'destroying everything around you' to the list.

5 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don’t think so… I have no “urge” to leave anything behind. Just live my life, be a good person, and eventually fade into nothingness.
