Dear non-American Free Worlders.
While they are years late, the Americans ARE trying to protest against Trump and Elon, across the nation. With pro-Trump influences owning media/social media platforms, including Zuckerberg and Bezos and Musk, their protests are being suppressed in the media.
Let's help them amplify their voices. Trump, Elon Goebbels Musk and his Nazi squad can perhaps control the media in USA, but not the world.
Please consider writing to your own media outlets, wherever you are in the world. Pressure them to amplify the voices in USA crying out against fascism, and not suppress or overlook them. The links I shared above are below, so you can easily copy/paste them. If anyone has some good links to add, please share here.

On every other day, I've been furious with the Americans for where they have lead their country, and the threats their country aims at the rest of us. But today, I feel, is a day to put my anger aside and help how I can. I hope some of you will join me, wherever you are.

This is honestly a much more constructive approach than your usual posts if I’m being honest with you, bravo

50501 could be a thing. It got me to go to the Capitol of AZ. I met a lot of interesting, diverse people. Theres going to be meetings to plan more events. At places "that have vegan options". OK. As long as they have beer.

Thank you. I have been protesting in as many ways as possible since the day Felonious PIG šŸ– slithered down that golden escalator. He never should have been nominated in the first place. He was seen as a useful idiot by the moneyed class who knew they could manipulate him into achieving their aims of unfettered autocracy.

Hey, I reached out to one of the biggest neutral News outlet in Germany: Deutschlandfunk. Let's hope they will cover your protests.

One thing Dracula got wrong: There are ALWAYS some who stand up and say "NO! We should not act like animals!" I just wish people listened to them more...

Thanks for the links and text. Just sent an email to some news outlets in my country.

You have nothing to lose but your chains.

Thank you! Many Americans are also furious with where we've gotten. I know some of what we've been facing, the psyops propaganda campaigns, the dark money, the high tech subversion of American society with social media - it's a looong list, and I'm not surprised we're here. America was the strongest bastion against autocracy, but it wasn't proof against ignorance, corruption and a long, secret soft war of bots and trolls and worse. LEARN FROM US. Study closely how we were attacked - those-

same attackers are coming for you. It's not just American right-wingers. Much of this comes from Putin. Take stock of what you love, and build it up! Defend it!

if the media doesnt wanna cover the protests maybe start protesting AT the media instead of at the capitals. like find cnn's headquarters and have as many people as will FIT onto those streets around it.

I've always wondered why we don't do that more. If the point if a protest is to bring visibility to the issues and the people mad about them, and the idea is to make politicians want to act by making an issue seem bug enough that they want to act on it...wouldn't going straight to the media sources have a greater impact anyhow?

I think this is about Winners and Losers of globalization. The losers voted for trump. He will do nothing for them except validate their frustration and give them targets for their fear through xenophobia, misogyny and racism. Maybe he'll succeed in bringing some industry back but it won't be competitive and probably won't generate a lot of prosperity. Unfortunately, the losers of globalization are clearly more numerous. They demonstrated that in the elections.

And now seeing the protests the day after, they really brought about the change we needed and weren't just a bunch of impotent raging from the group of useless douchebags that think strongly worded resignation letters will bring about the change we need.

Fatalistic attitudes helps the nazis win.

As an American, I'm sorry the rest of the world has to deal with us. Often, the shame of being associated with this shithole country genuinely makes me want to die. To those who still extend empathy to us, thank you. While many don't deserve it, many more do -- remember that this country was stolen through genocide and built with slavery. Rebuke the fuckers perpetuating hate into the current year, but please extend grace to those who never asked for this, and who try to unfuck this shituation.

it's not fatalistic to point out that a few thousand people nationwide protesting not getting national news isn't weird, we're not talking BLM riots here

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's not supporting, is it? It's pretty much saying there's no point in trying and to give up. So... Fatalistic.

Can some international news help spread it? That way its out of their grimy fingers

And we arent "years late" protesting the systematic takedown of what the US origin intent was has been ongoing. BLM, occupy wall street, protesting to tear down white monuments, there wasnt a name for it that I remember when I was put protesting/advocating for gay marriage, womens rights and those tiddy hats. Like if you look it's always been there. That's my surprise to the lack of amplification.

"There are nationwide protests across USA against Trump and Must today, and mainstream media, much of which is under pro-Trump influence, is hushing it"

Uh, no. It may be a bit further down on the page because of a plane crash in Toronto where NOBODY DIED, but you can find stories on AP, UPI, NYT, NBC, ABC, FOX, USA Today, NPR, Democracy Now, The Independent, Al Jazeera, Rolling Stone, LA Times, etc.

Isn't there enough to be mad about without false claims of being silenced?

You're wrong. These protests are relevant and your complain is aiding the nazis.

OP is from NZ, and the media here barely report on any of the bad shit Trump does. The little that does get reported is sanewashed as fuck - none of the expert critiques or analysis from the overseas sources is included, so the average person here has no fucking clue about Trump.

In a world as connected as ours, why would someone confine their news-gathering to local sources? The Guardian is free, so are BBC, CBC, and a host of other platforms that pride themselves on fact-checking. Being informed takes work and critical thinking skills, but is easier than it has ever been in human history.

There's a lot of people who have only ever watched their local news & read their local papers. A lot of them have no idea of the vast array of news sources available, and even if they did, they probably wouldn't care to try them.

Perhaps because they have been told not to. Here in Canada, our own peri-fascist contender for the Prime Minister's role has been toeing the Conservative line for twenty years, that the CBC is an untrustworthy and biased news source. When people get their news from their political party of choice, everyone loses.
