I had a day like that at work a few years back. Except it was explosive diarrhea. I was fortunate enough that when I finally didn't make it to the toilet in time I didn't have any poop left in me, so only a bit of murky water came out. I had to go home sick because my ass was so raw it hurt to sit or move my lower half (and I couldn't stay off the toilet for more than 15 minutes).

I'm a decade away from what I would consider middle-aged, to be fair (in my 30s), but some of my peers are talking about getting old with proper signs of ageing (not just white/grey hairs).
