Depending on shoe size and which leg, they could split shoe purchases! I've heard some vet groups do that. Nice way of staying in touch.

Atleast the hospital i work in has a support group that will come visit patients who will have a similar surgery as they did. Very nice.

As a Physical Therapist, Ive never seen anyone as ablebodied as someone with a prosthesis. Hell half the time those things are ^ bio (1/2)

Not a whole lot really. About 5 years ago some discomfort then pain, had an arthro to cut it out, said it was benign, few years later..
