Plenty of congress people complain about some of the demands of the job. But it revolves around the obscene amount of time they have to do fundraising. And it's not so they can spend time with family and friends, it's so they can spend time in their districts. Now, are some of them lying? Absolutely. But they have the intelligence to lie about it rather than sounding like a petulant child.

Don't count on it. She is a very accurate representative of her district. I have to pass through there on my way to go skiing from time to time, and I do my best to never stop there. Just the signs on the side of the road are bad enough.

I know people in her district but cannot motivate them to go vote. I remind them multiple times in early voting and then on election day, but the next week they're like "dang, I guess I should have made time to go vote." It's incredibly frustrating.
