While a well trained pit will be a good boy like other breeds, a badly trained one is more likely to cause problems than many other breeds
bite force is less than many other breeds including German Shepards and Rottweiler’s took the top spot, but I think Pit Bull breeds tend to
be strong willed and highly determined, meaning if they decide to do harm, they are hard to stop. This determination coupled with high pain
tolerance results in a dog that’s extremely difficult to stop. However they have been proven to be difficult to trigger, scoring second
Place in the AKC temperament scale being beaten by labradors by only a few points in their overall ability to tolerate aggression triggering
Our gsd/rott/staffie rescue had quite the bite and would hold on tight. Once we trained the agression out (mostly over food) she was fine.
