Every night is a battle

it's just like a dog that does not want a bath!

A bird in a cage (of a certain size), where it can't really fly, always seems a bit... unnatural to me. Even when it's allowed outside part of the day.

I'm a simple man, I upvote birbs.

You need a mold of your hand to turn into a birb bed.

Snuggle is real!

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i've always wanted a parrot but they charge quadrouple here what others want for them..

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Our sun conure fights us about bedtime because he would rather sleep in our curtains than his cage lol silly dino

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They are called Love Birds for a reason...they are pack animals.

1 year ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That is not a lovebird, though. That is a yellow sided green cheek conjure. Lovebird is a misnomer anyway, those little fellas are full of hate!

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's it !!!! I'm getting one of these

Pippin sleeps curled up over my heart inside my shirt. I don't recommend this, but because I have a Cpap, I'm forced to stay on my back anyway.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

It’s 100% possible to roll with a cpap on, regardless of the head gear you use. You don’t have to roll to kill him, though, just jerk your arm wrong in your sleep one time.

Look at Jean-Claude Van Damme over here.

My parrot doesn’t like bedtime either. They are like tiny eternal children. But Mom, I don’t wanna go to bed!

haha I barely remember but the clip made it spring to mind

If my memory serves, at a later point, the friend holding her back, who happens to have bizarre genetic modifications in the form of hands for feet, gets said hand-feet cut to pieces on the same grass.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No.. I want cuddles! Five more minutes? 💕🥰😍

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is a stolen post from reddit. I know because it is my video, same username on reddit

so, OP is a big fat phony?

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Birbfather!!

@OP

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I’ve never had a bird. Is this sort of clinging behaviour normal? It is so precious!

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This type is a green cheek conure, often referred to as the most cuddly type of bird and my god they are cuddly. This is one of my two conures and she is so freaking attached she regularly climbs in my sleeves to stop me typing on a keyboard. Very very high maintenance, essentially a flying toddler with bolt cutters on their faces.

Two……. With one stone

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have the opposite problem: my bird will follow me around and nipping my ear, until I put her to bed. She demands I place her on her perch and turn down the lights.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe 'e prefers kippin' on 'is back?

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He needs to get that bird a friend.

1 year ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 2

"One bird is none bird"

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's what i was thinking. Probably lonely or even afraid

1 year ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

That's probably the reality here. That parrot is desperately attached to their human, and hates being alone. Parrots are super social and aren't like humans where they want and appreciate some alone time. They are happier when they have literal 24/7 company. A parrot friend could likely help here quite a bit.

1 year ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 5

Totally makes sense, evolutionarily. They're about as "prey" as it gets, and always have to be on the lookout for threats, day or night. Ofc, there's nothing threatening there, but the neuron bundles that say [alone bad, friends + many friends, much better] don't care about domestication.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

you do have to take into account how long they have been alone too. I had one that was desocialized as a kid, when we tried to get her a buddy she snapped their neck day one.

1 year ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Not the reality here. This is my video and this baby bird (hera) has a bird friend who was perched on my shoulder. You can see many posts with both of them on my reddit

1 year ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 1

Well that's massive context that we're not getting here, that maybe you should have let us know about! lol It's cool, it's a sweet video either way, but it changes things quite a bit if they are simply desperate to avoid being separated from their partner.

All I can think of is the tune and reverb of a fart in those conditions.

Masterful opportunity there.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's an unrealistically sturdy sprinkler head. In my experience, they touch off with relatively minimal pressure.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Winter lukewarm ?

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Anyone else use to do this as a child?

1 year ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 1

Shimmy up the stairs hallway about 15 ft.

1 year ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Nah, it was mostly just killing people with my brain. Or the soup thing.

1 year ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

I did, my grandparents made me see a local priest for an exorcism after scaring them a few too many times lol

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

We don't have those sprinklers here, so I was at a disadvantage and just couldn't.

1 year ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Just in the door frames.

1 year ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

That’s worth two in the bush.

1 year ago | Likes 599 Dislikes 1

Or 1 in the bush is worth 2 in the hand, as 'dogging Dave's used to say

Only if you don't have thrush issues (with either the bird or the disease)

That's disgusting. Don't put them there.

1 year ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Sorry but I don't trust you after you made OP put the last birb in the incinerator

1 year ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 1

Maybe he means that using birbs like this will halve the incineration time

That bird loves you so much, thats amazing, we unfortunately got one with many many less braincells

1 year ago | Likes 344 Dislikes 2

Fewer

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

We had two lovebirds once. The one was intelligent, spoke and learned tricks. Looking in the eyes of the other one, you could tell there’s absolutely nothing there. Complete idiot.

1 year ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

I think it's more likely it just doesn't want to be alone.

1 year ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1

I agree. Birds need partners.

1 year ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

This bird has a partner. My video from reddit.

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

That's good. I unfortunately learnt by keeping a single budgie years ago.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Same. I think mine loves me but doesn't comprehend how to express it other than screaming at me.

1 year ago | Likes 67 Dislikes 1

Same with my 2 month old child

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, same

1 year ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Birds are highly social animals... Maybe they are lonely or depressed?

1 year ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

Birds are assholes, like on purpose, they enjoy mischief and chaos

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nah, he's a happy wee sole. He just enjoys strutting around and being noisy. He does get affectionate, but he doesn't really like hands. I think he was handled badly before I got him.

1 year ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bullshit; my girlfriend has nine birds and they STILL scream for attention every single day. It's not loneliness, birds just like to be jerks.

1 year ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

birds are definitely one of the few animals who wholly understand and willingly participate in both mischief and crime

Amen
