I’ve been a comic for almost 4 years now. You’re gunna have times where quitting seems like a viable option. Don’t. Just don’t.

Are you James Adomian? You guys look very similar

I've been on many stages before. I didn't perform and there was no audience but I've been on stages.

Not gonna lie, started rough. But you got a real laugh out of my jaded ass. Takes guts to do that, keep doing it!

Great show @OP Keep at it!!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why aren't you naked and bucking on that saddle? Missed opportunity, bro....

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You did quite well. Keep improving and stay gutsy. According to comedy greats, that's the key. Just bomb over and over and keep trying.

Great work! Considering trying it myself, so this is really motivating! Don't listen to the haters, you did good! Keep it up! :)

I have a bunch of joke ideas but I explain the idea to friends and am like "Fuck this does not sound funny now"

Hats off to you @OP!

Cell phone quality? When I say cell phone quality I think Sony Ericsson W200i. This isn't cell phone quality.

Not bad, @OP. Keep it up. You're doing some good work, and for a first time, that's a solid set!

"Then we'll put the saddle on the railing." "And the fire hydrant near the wall?" "No, that's where the drum goes."

I'm trying to put together 5 minutes. I have a really hard time making it sound unrehearsed, and it scares me off from trying...

Fucking big ass igloo.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Congratulations! You went after your dream. I hope one day I'll have the courage to go on a stage too.

Being on stage can be liberating if you let it and just have fun

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

it's terrifying and liberating, and when you get a good reaction from the audience, it's very satisfying.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I usually substitute it by getting trashed, seems to work pretty well, at least for my comedy.

The more people the easier it is, oddly enough. It's easier for me speaking in front of 2,000 (granted, only one time) than in front of 20.

8 years ago | Likes 118 Dislikes 2

Definitely, it's wierdly less intimidating

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As someone with a crippling fear of public speaking, the thought of 2000 people makes my stomach flip.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I think it’s cause it’s easier to dehumanise a sea of 2000 faces than just 20, from my experience

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

Yeah. Something about it being harder to focus on any person with more people. Easier to dehumanize and just speak. Like with a camera.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

My problem is if the audience is 20, I know each one by name. For 200, you can barely see your one friend in the back.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm a musician. I'm so much more comfortable in front of a lot of people. Intimate shows give me crazy anxiety

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As someone who enjoys Karaoke, I can agree with. Love it when there is a packed bar versus like...10 people.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Karaoke is the bomb shit. And yes, I agree that more people makes it easier. It's a do-or-die thing, I think.

Omg I know. kills me.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Vegas

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You’re not from Florida, are you? “Florida man delivers” would be a pleasant change of pace. Lol

Well done, man. The first time I stepped on stage to sing I nearly threw up on the spot. Good work, keep it up.
