They died harming brown people for oil money. They died for America, sure, but Corporate America. Not the American people. No war the US har been in since 1945 has benefited the American people. Only greed.

And Australians . . . just because. 339 killed in Korea. 521 killed in Vietnam. 41 killed in Afghanistan. Back before Trump when the USA had friends and allies.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Guess he forgot about the part where the US bombed Canadian troops in Afghanistan.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If you adjust them by the country's population compared to the USA, you get a better sense of scale - for example Denmark's 50 deaths would be closer to 2000 if its population was the same as the USA.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Closer to 4000 actually

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We didn't have to help in Afganistan or Iraq.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Let's not forget the time they 'whoopsied' and killed 4 Canadian troops in Afghanistan...

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Or the Italian secret agent Nicola Calipari in Iraq. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rescue_of_Giuliana_Sgrena

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How many Trump’s did this include? How about in US wars ever?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

For every one of those there are how many that have life-altering injuries?

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And the injuries you don't see (PTSD etc.)

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They stand alone now

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You Americans would have universal healthcare, decent educations and ok labour laws if you had only paid your taxes in 1776.

2 months ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

On top of that, slavery would have been abolished sooner.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

we'd have less taxes too.

2 months ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

shut the fuck up, donnie boy

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

10 New Zealanders also died between 2002 and 2013. Just adding as a Kiwi.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Lots of non-NATO deaths are missing on this NATO-only list.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, the statement was specifically that NATO has done nothing for them, so it doesn't really make sense to list non-NATO involvement in a rebuttal.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Plus 27 from Romania and I’m sure many other countries that are not mentioned here.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Now list how many were "friendly fire" that never got investigated because the US didn't sign up to the war crimes treaty?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guess which countries will NOT help in the future wars the US gets involved in?

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

oh theyll help. each other. because itll be against them.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Nah, I think the next war the US will be involved in is Civil War 2: Electric boogaloo.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The First Battle of Mar a Lago was notable for heavy casualties amongst the 1st Floridaman Division.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Meanwhile Drumpf/Trumps are notorious for being cowards who either run away or have magic bonespurs, talking shit about others.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Why would he care about other countries losses when he doesn't care about American losses. When he says Nato does nothing for America. He means they do nothing for him personally.

2 months ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 1

More specifically, they don't give him money.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

because he wants to be praised and thanked and lauded. all he fucking cares about is attention and his own fragile ego.

1267. 1267 human lives for Europe to be told "they've done nothing"

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

sadly, you have to remember in the orange shitstain's mind, "doing nothing" is not thanking and praising him directly.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

No I don't because fuck that shitstain. He's a fascist traitor to the United states of America

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

then you shouldn't be surprised when he says shit like this.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

I never said I was surprised.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

point remains however, no one should have a reaction to this anymore with the outlandish shit he says. In fact, if anyone had common sense and a set of stones on them, the second he says something like this, the only fitting response would be: "oh shut the fuck up you diapered kid fucking puppet. your whole life has been doing nothing. now what the fuck you gonna do about it? tax your people more?"

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

That's not even counting Europe catching the main backlash in terms of terrorism and refugee waves from Americas war on terror. We didn't have Police with MP5 patrolling train stations before that shit.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Germany did at some point before my departure pre Trump. Berlin hauptbahnhof had police armed af multiple years

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

*before that shit* = before the Americans declared the "global war on terror"

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ok that's fair

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did the math. If you only take the 160+ at its face value of 160 and add the rest of the countries together, you wind up with 631 to America's 636. NATO allies lost 99.3% of the total of lost Americans. Yet we did fucking nothing.

He raped and murdered children. He is a convicted fraudster and was found libel for sexual assault. He said he wanted to be the president of revenge. Fuck you for putting him there, America. He belongs in jail, not the Oval Office.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This really ought to be the final insult. If our sacrifices for their idiotic wars mean nothing to them than they can go and fight their own fucking wars. As if they'd honestly still honor their pledge to defend Europe. If or rather when the US inevitably pisses of the wrong people again we should stay well out of it. Our only attachment to these people is economic dependency. We are ideological enemies.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

After his awful speech, the conversation changed from Trump & Republicans being enemies to all of us.
There are so many people trapped inside this US nightmare who care about our allies, who are descendants of ally brothers & sisters. What he says couldn't be further from how we feel. Please know that.
And most still supporting him are those who are most programmed by "state news", rurals who have been taught not to believe the truth, that anything outside of their AI fueled "news" is a lie.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The US hasn't fought a defensive war since 1814. This wasn't y'all heroically coming to the US's aid, it was you sending soldiers into invasions to make sure you got your cut of the spoils.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 9

If you're not a troll/bot you're an idiot. The way you speak about the US instead of "we" and then turn around and use the term y'all in a sentence that isn't written casually/ informally otherwise, makes me think you're the prior.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, I'm just an American who sees that a bunch of the same shit happening here is happening all over Europe, but you all consistently act like rising fascism is a uniquely American problem. France barely kept Le Pen out of office.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Yes Europe has certainly massively benefited from participating in the war against terror.. All we got for our trouble was dead and mangled troops, more terror attacks and a destabilized mid east that sent a refugee crisis our way.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Nobody benefitted from the war on terror except the rich fucks that waged it. And the rich fucks that waged it were all over the global west.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Canada goes places as peacekeepers in an effort to reduce the number of brown people that American soldiers "self defense" in the face.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Note that this table is also an important reminder that Europe and Canada in general have been more than happy to participate in and benefit from US imperialism. We'll see a lot of people trying to lay the blame for this culture solely on the US because they can opportunistically distance themselves from the atrocities by cutting us loose with President Poopydrawers.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

this. so much this. Europe has been more than happy to align with the US to keep their first-world status. And UK, Canada, Australia don't get any sympathy from me. they're happy to be "brothers in arms".

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

love the downvotes of all of the anglos, LOL

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Who does get your sympathy?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a Canadian ill admit that I did feel pretty safe having the usa as a neighbour. We also benefited from having the Usa as our number 1 trading partner, though perhaps depended on that relationship a bit too much. This has been, if anything, a wake up call for us. I hope to see us trading out less raw resources and lean towards manufacturing more goods for ourselves.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Ugh you cant bring up stuff you did 25 years ago like it matters, now let me once again tell you how you would all be speaking german if it wasnt for the US.

2 months ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 10

I don't have to speak German but I live in a country where I learned quite a bit of it due to leftover effects from the Nazi occupation.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

All those people would have had an easier time without the US's involvement.. What with them sitting our the war for years because people like Henry Ford (the Elon Musk of his day) were busy making money hand over fist selling to both sides.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

GM and Ford both had subsidiary factories in Germany that were liberated by allied forces and found to have slave labour working there. They werent the only ones either, IBM made the punchcards that effectively made the holocaust possible from a bureaucracy standpoint.

Especially since he ruined all progress in Afghanistan and condemned Afghan women to theocratic hell by handing the country back to the taliban on a silver platter. He also endangered the lives of NATO forces in the process, not to mention the lives of the Afghan Government and armed forces. Out of pure spite / to destroy Obama's legacy, to blame Biden for the inevitably haphazard withdrawal, and ofc because putin prefers the taliban in charge over a US-aligned government.

Who would have imagined the great menace to the world comes from a senile, greedy, pedophile rapist running a large first world country?

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

For this reason alone I cannot wrap my head around US military members who voted for trump in '24. He got US soldiers killed in Syria by sharing intelligence with russia. Lots of CIA assets died for the same reason. He stole classified information, sold nuclear secrets to foreign nations – very likely including the country behind 9/11 – and displayed nothing but utter contempt for living and fallen US soldiers alike. But white supremacism and misogyny run deep.

All you Americans would be speaking…english..right now if it weren’t for the French in 1776.

You jest, but we'd be speaking English CORRECTLY, and that's abhorrent.

2 months ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 3

Agreed, as a Norwegian we get tought British English in schools, but most media is consumed in simplified English so I have a mix of both on top of my Norwegian accent.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The English can't even speak English correctly... so there's that.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Actually, proper English is closer to a southern accent and grammar.

The educated pretentious British accent was intentionally done to sound superior to the colonies, but prior to that, they sounded like hillbillies themselves.

Their educated population used to speak French and Latin, and English was the peasant language.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

if you call an island of english speakers who can barely comprehend one another if separated by more than 50 miles proper...

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Obligatory American English is closer to original English comment.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I believe Canadian English is actually closer to original.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh it's possible. I have no idea. I just see the comment under everything talking about speaking proper English.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Originally, both American and British English were rhotic. However, after the Revolutionary War, upper-class and upper-middle-class Brits started using non-rhotic speech to show off their social status. This became the standard British accent and influenced many popular phrases. Thus Americans speak English more correctly.

2 months ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

More correctly? No. We speak "gooder".

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Soccer is one of my favorites of these. The sport was called soccer originally and they decided to start calling it football and didn't tell us.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Association Football - Abreviated to asoc or soccer to deferentiate it from Rugby Football. Hence USA using soccer and football.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The Brits coined the term soccer while everyone else called it football. I'm pretty sure switching back was revenge for the revolution to make Americans look stupid.

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Ugh the horrible thing is that due to British democracy, it just means Britain just gets swept into US christofascism,

Their pints would be bigger though...

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Much like Canada we'd eventually have our own parliament, they wouldn't risk chaining England to a bunch of *colonies.* And we'd probably end up much like we did because a lot of the problem were people England kicked out. Abolishing slavery in 1833 is a more interesting change, though. The father back you go before the industrial revolution the less one sided the civil war would be, but the north would also have a lot of help.

*this* I still don't understand how I still encounter a bunch of veterans that still worship the very ground he walks on. I work in the VA, which means he's the very reason their benefits are getting cut and they still think he's the greatest president.

Preach! The man metaphorically spat on John McCain's in public, and the lovsers comment, the gold star family situations, and that was the first term.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't think him saying this made it onto their news feeds at the time, and now they probably think it never happened.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Because those veterans are Nazis. Every time you don't understand why someone supports him while being directly harmed by his policies is because they are a Nazi and they agree with the broad Nazi takeover of the US agenda. They don't like democracy, women or minorities and the authoritarian bully rhetoric speaks deeply to them, it fits their worldview. Makes them feel strong. Original Nazism grew out of German men feeling emasculated and weak after WW1 and unable to find their place in Weimar.
