Having worked in a mall cutlery store for years, these are far too practical and quality for the typical mall ninja.

9 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Yes

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it was, I missed it. Happy to see forged blades. Aesthetically, much cooler when they're made from something like a combination wrench.

The first repost came a mere six hours after the original post

A couple days ago, in the exact same order.

"Hey Bob any idea where all our tools went?"

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Where there's a will, there's a way. Anything can be a weapon if you try hard enough.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Can cheese be a weapon

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If you believe it can.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Why wrench?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because you see Ivan, when wrench is knife, nothing you tighten will becoming loose for fear of stab.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#5 all I see happening is stabbing I to something and your fingers sliding into the blade and slicing your fingers.

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Not to mention wire rope tears up your hands whenever you grip it.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

its a slicey knife, not a stabby knife. also its mall ninja shit.

Forge welded a railroad spike to the end of a blade.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

no idea but I want it D:

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is one of the most beautiful knives I've ever seen.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

That one might actually have been useful too, depending on how thick they left the blade. If it is too thin, tool steel wil break, not bend

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It looks like they went thin at the edge, but the spine looks nice and thick. I would carry this daily, and the finger hole? Hnnng.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

@zordicron - found his Facebook, looks like it sold for $145 in '13. I'd have paid that, for sure.. https://www.facebook.com/artisticsteel/

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I assume most of these have higher quality steel blades forge welded into the low quality iron tang.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Combo-wrench steel: great. Pipe wrench: eh, s'ok. Railroad spike?: LOL. The hammers would be ? Most are too hard for a thin blade= broken

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm a blacksmith. Anything that used to be a tool is darn good steel for a blade

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

uhuh. i bet wrench crovan can cut circles around m390

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Doubt it

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Wrenches are good metal; no need. Railroad spikes on the other hand make shit knives. They are just fun to work with.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

right, but I've seen people make railroad spike tomahawks, and they take high quality steel and shove it on there for the blade

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah that would be pretty cool. My forge isn't good enough to do a forge weld like that, but I bet rivets would work as well.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This wire knife is awesome. I want one.
