+10 year dealer tech here, certified SRS system... yeah, fake. The solid fuel used to deploy airbags are VERY stable......
... and need an explosion (igniter) to cause the solid fuel to start its burn. The igniter is located on the back side of the airbag.....
..... so poking the badge on the fron side of the unit won't do anything. This was just some clever editing with a already deployed bag....
... plus having a screw driver there during deployment could be deadly. Bonus, the gas generated is nearly 100% nitrogen.

There's capacitors in the airbag ecu that will keep some emergency power, but once it's drained, there's not enough current to blow them>
up. That's why you're supposed to wait like 90s after disconnecting the battery to mess with the airbags. Also... NEVER flip an airbag ecu >
upside down.... There's a mechanism in there that sends power to the bags if it detects a rollover, flipping it does the same thing.
