Hey! PFFFT!
BeeCups
Thats a pretty snake
vauhtihirmu
This is pretty much what I imagine Sotek to look like. Only angrier, somehow.
kf5kfj
So cute, so deadly.

dmay1210
His eye looks like a tiger eye marble.
CaptainThePirate
Did that dragon just chirp at me?
marthisthing
A snake’s belt slips because he has no hips!
HonestCommentFarmer
Love the bird sounds comped over a slow motion vid of this guy.
Right2Jail
Can someone add fire coming out so it looks like a baby dragon?
gerhardpascher
Atheris squamigera
LtColThorin
Gasp!
Outlavv
Neat how the eye auto levels itself while the head moves
meteorcow
I feel like it's really bad if nature is throwing up hi-vis caution flags on an animal. Like, a whole lotta poison in that one.
SomethingNewAndFancy
If my memory serves me right, that is a type of a pit viper. Absolutely stunning
Zahnradfee
It doesn't have pits, though.
ctotheg2
S’s open mouths to receive chemical information about their environment. S’s sense mostly through smell & have sevrl ways to receive scents.
SwampAss13

Snakes are very pretty but I don’t think I’d ever want them as a pet. They seem difficult to care for & hard to provide adequate space
A tank seems too small, I imagine they’d be happier with a larger environment then I could provide.
RusstheVillian
Depends on the species tbh. Drier, desert climate ones like corn snake or rat snakes are easy. Just food, water, heat clean bedding
Ball pythons are more complicated for example with very specific heat and humidity requirements

Tell me right now that this is fake. Holy cannoli!
No its not fake. Traditionally you'll see a snake do this after eating to realign its jaws. Its not 'yawning'.
TonnerreCadien
Asp burpers syndrome.
TiredOldBroad
See, I was gonna say he tasted that burp.
Then, to taste it again, he stuck his tongue out!
ToCrushYourEnemiesSeeThemDrivenBeforeYouToHearTheLamentation
Maybe a Squamigera Bush viper? Although it kinda looks like an eyelash viper minus the eyelashes.
blackbirdspyplane
Very pretty, but I absolutely want no part of that
You're not supposed to keep snake parts anyway. Keep whole snakes who are alive!
jomi20806
If nature decided not to hide it it’s because it doesn’t need to be hidden…don’t fuck with brightly colored things in nature
schlockchurch
Unless it's chicken of the woods.
dingofdong
Well, sometimes. Batesian mimicry is a thing though, tbf, where harmless things just dress up like other, colourful dangerous things
Sankrew
Yes but I can leave that up to the professionals while I just hang out with some praying mantids or something safe like that.
