The correct answer to any US offer under this administration

Fuck this sleazy, scumbag administration. No serious person believes that Denmark needs medical assistance, especially from a country that charges premium prices for fucking insulin. But I bet you casual and hardcore maga fans will bray about how universal healthcare is actually worse for your country because of the wait times to see a doctor.

(Same as last time, I’m not interested in your “but actually” comment about universal healthcare, downvote this, block me, and move on please)

Trump just won`t stop !

Best thing to do tbh. I wouldn't put it past the guy to load the supplies with diseases.

The fact that he is offering free healthcare is the biggest red flag.

We said NO THANKS!

Free health care for Americans, not even once

“AI Generated hospital ship”?
Fuck me.

I especially liked the part: Mette Fredriksen said she was "happy to live in a country where access to healthcare is free and equal for all. Where insurance or wealth does not determine whether one receives dignified treatment".

It should be there in about two weeks.

I've been fighting with paperwork to get my insurance back for my meds. I'm suffering withdrawal symptoms and it recently cost me a job in an interview where I passed out on Zoom. I just want medical care and rent. :(

"Thanks but we have much better wooden horses at home. And did I mention the ones we already have are free?"

Didn't a Magat try and hit USNS Mercy with a train?

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A world leader, who is over a country that has free Healthcare, needs to publicly say that trump doesn't have the intelligence to pull off free Healthcare in the US. That will piss the orange shit stain off to the point he will do everything he can to make free Healthcare happen just to prove a point.

Someone probably told Trump "show them some hospitality" and Trump was like "SEND THE HOSPITAL SHIP!"

1 month ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Good god... he thinks he's sending them a cruise ship doesn't he

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What a dork.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How about the healthcare in the US. It's the only country that has medical debt bankruptcies!

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just more disinformation. Setting up a fake scenario implying that they don't receive healthcare justify his actions and his claim that they'd be better off under our thumb. Reminds me of "They're eating the dogs and cats." and the old "They're all criminals."

I wonder how many guns it has, and how many troops, err, doctors!

He is so completely delusional. Zero days without being an international embarassment.

Aren't both of our Navy hospital ships currently in drydock in Alabama?

If that asshole is gonna send free mobile floating healthcare someplace, how about Louisiana?

1 month ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Republicans: We would like you to have this nice thing! Greenland: What are all those strings attached to it for? Republicans: Ignore those.

Could he possibly send that hospital ship to America?

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Fun fact, the USNS Mercy is currently in drydoock in Alabama undergoing maintenance

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So, if the intention is to help out a less-than-robust healthcare system, and the ship is already in Mobile, Alabama, shouldn't it just be used as a hospital in Mobile, Alabama?

This analogy is closer than first appeared. :(

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Last I heard the ship that is supposed to be "on the way!" is still docked somewhere in Louisiana.

1 month ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 0

If you read what I did all the actual hospital ships we have are docked for repairs/updates/etc so they are currently retrofitting a river boat. How they expect a river boat to cross the decidedly un river like ocean doesn't seem to really be covered.

Of course how long the retrofit is gonna take versus the guys actual recovery time also doesn't seem to be a consideration

Ah yes. I wonder whose company made the campaign contributions for that contract.

About 75 billion in medical debt is produced in the US yearly. Totally makes sense to send medical help to a country that already has socialized health care

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

It's not like it's bad socialized healthcare. Median of 19 days to see a doctor in the cities. Something like 88 days for rural. And I'm pretty sure that number includes all diagnostics. Wait time for something like a rash is probably within 2 days.

I waited 3 months to see a primary care health provider. I live in a city.

I have A- corporate healthcare, but I will be shelling out 4 G's in costs anyway for a fairly minor surgery. Absolutely infuriating

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I mean, it just makes no sense. Ya pay a percentage out of your paycheck for insurance, your employer pays a percentage for your insurance and somehow you still have to pay out of pocket for healthcare. And we're not talking a couple bucks, we're talking an amount where you might choose to delay surgery because you still can't afford it.

And people still think this is a good system.

Please send hospital ship to the US; I'm dizzy but only in half of my head, and vision is dim in one eye

1 month ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

That'll be $28,000 and you get a recipe for pills that cost $5000/bottle.

1 month ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I would love a recipe for certain prescriptions I have. I’d need access to the ingredients tho

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Too bad they can`t sail that ship to Alabama.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Fun fact - they’re both in Alabama right now.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Dry-docked. Neither one is going anywhere anytime soon.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Did he have an excuse to decide to send this casus belli to Greenland, or was it completely spontaneous?

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Personally, I think he actually believes there's no access to a hospital in Greenland. So it's gotta be a selling point to the Greenland people to join the US if we give them access to medical care.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trump is restarting the media normalization campaign. Invasion didn't pan out so he'll resort to making it look like the Greenland govt doesn't care about it's people and use that to wedge his fat orange ass in.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I get what he's going for, I'm just wondering if I missed some sort of disaster or health crisis in Greenland, which is part of the country widely reputed to have the best healthcare in the world.

It's along the same lines as "I stopped the war between Azerbaijan and Albania!!" when, in fact, the countries were never at war with each other to begin with.

There was actually a post on here not long ago of the two leaders of said countries laughing about it to each other
