Good luck

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thank you!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Something tells me you are going to drink Mimosas all day anyways. :D

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, I planned on it anyway :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's a different type of THT post

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Arrow to the knee or some shit like that?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not nearly as cool as that. Tore ACL playing flag football.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not liking because I'm happy you tore your ACL but because you replied.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Someone told me their dad smashed his hand and I upvoted for replying - I hope they don't think I'm happy about the smashed hand!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So looking at your post history, you've had your fair share of hospital visits it would seem :/

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ouch, you need to be more careful! Thanks and you feel better too!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Game on!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's something I can get behind

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I love hospital socks

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That is a lot of days drinking with all those likes... You'll end up an alcoholic!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks like I'm getting drunk today.

Remember NOT to combine paracetamol and alcohol. Could turn your liver into mimosa in a jiffy

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(That goes for most painkillers btw)

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I promise to pick one or the other, not both. I never was a fan of painkillers.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Watcha watching OP?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think at the time of this pic I was watching either Tale Of Unfortunate Events or My Friend Rockefeller.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Requires photo dump to verify...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of me drinking mimosas?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was in a brace like that for 8 weeks! I know your pain @Op!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yikes, why? What'd you do?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had a complete MCL replacement, due to an overstretched ligament.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're going to be masturbating a lot more @op.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Mimosas and masturbating. Not a bad way to spend the day.

Is this your thigh high Thursday contribution?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ha! I guess so!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My brother gets this surgery next month. Second time! Guess the cadaver piece degenerated over the years.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't get the cadaver piece. They used a bit of my hamstring. I hope it goes well for him!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

His doctor mentioned that he doesn't typically do the cadaver piece on younger patients. So, he wouldn't have chosen that for my brother

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

When he had the surgery at 18. He feels that may have been part of the problem. He said it's more successful on people slightly older

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's what my doc says too.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Um.. Is it just me or is that a looong leg

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm about 5'4" and I think it's proportionate (proportional?) to my torso.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

@OP I have a similar view, but I'm off for a few months. $22K in surgeries...

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yikes! What'd you do?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yikes! What'd you do?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Whole bunch of shit. Recurring pain from a long-ago skateboarding injury prompted seeing an orthopedic doctor, ended up getting that 1/?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

taken care of, as well as high arches fixed from birth, and hammer toes crushed out and pins stuck in them. Just in one foot, so I 2/3

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I imagine I'll have to get the other foot done eventually... All because I wanted to walk without pain. 3/3

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Good Lord that's a lot! I hope it pays off! No one should have to live with chronic pain.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I am in the exact same position. What did you mess up.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tore my ACL playing flag football. Surgery was yesterday afternoon. What'd you do?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Tore my petellar tendon hey the second day of pain for me was ungodly stay on the pain mds

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ouch. My nerve blocker they gave me yesterday is about to wear off so I'm not looking forward to this afternoon.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

O..then you have fd up. Did you press the button alot?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What button?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope, Michigan.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What did u do

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Tore my ACL and had surgery yesterday afternoon.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I'm in the same place as you. I just ripped my ACL off the bone. Total replacement needed. Out of 3 more mounths.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ouch, that sounds way worse than mine. Sorry.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oh man that sucks. Hope they gave you some pain meds. My dad had pins put in his finger Tuesday

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Ouch! That sounds horrible! I hope he got good pain meds too.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ya crushed it at work. Ya hes ok. Pains a lot tho. They gave him oxycodone and hes taking 2 at a time. It just takes the edge off

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I hope he gets better soon and that he gets workman's comp.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

need some backstory here OP; I mean mimosas all day sounds like a good plan regardles of upvotes, but context please

9 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

Tore my ACL playing flag football. Surgery was yesterday afternoon.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I tore mine falling off a handicap ramp. Ended up in a wheelchair for 2 months since crutches made me bruise too easily. Mimosa it up!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Handicapping yourself on a handicap ramp. Ironic?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Very. Fun part was explaining every time someone asked me why I was in a wheelchair. I came up with a great story involving UFOs & a baby.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I need a better story. Maybe something to do with saving puppies and a burning building.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Month out of surgery myself. Don't push it man. And definitely drink up

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Whats an ACL? And your bloodline is weak.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Anterior cruciate ligament. Helps the knee work. And yeah, it probably is. Check out my cyst post. I'm all sorts of ill.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Im going pro athlete. Running/cycling. My knees hurt quite a lot of the time but in a "damage makes us stronger" kind of way. Sorry to hear.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's a lofty goal! Best of luck and I hope the pains don't hold you back.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ouch, well make sure you don't mix the pain meds with the booze

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

If I've learned anything in this life, it's that warning labels are just to stop you from having fun. you can still do both, just to less.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Well, many painkillers combined with alcohol is really dangerous and might cause liver failure in relatively small doses.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"warning: this prescription may cause euphoria. alcohol may intensify this side affect."

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

AreYouSureAboutThat?

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Is your sock on backwards? Grippy side up?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Grippies on both sides :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oops, that ???? was supposed to be an :) but the imgur app didn't recognize the emoji

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I already finished WW, but I haven't seen the other two. I will get started! All that's on my list right now are Bob Ross and crime shows.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Duuude, how about that reveal in WW, eh? The Crown is great, superb acting, super interesting story about the Queen's early years.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Master of None is hilariously subtle with surprising tenderness.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I didn't see any of it coming! Great show.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did we have an oopsie?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Flag football injury. Getting too old to play games!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well... What doesn't kill you will just make you stronger!

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Eat lots of fruit! Heal you faster

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Full of minerals. A multivitamin would help as well and plenty of Di hydrogen monoxide

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thanks for the advice! One Clementine down, many to go!
