As a new mom, I relate to all of these....

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I used to relate to these and then I got a CPAP machine and now I wake up feeling great!

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Not me, i sleep like god during the holocaust.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

As a teacher, yes to all of these

My fitbit is starting to worry about my sleep patterns....

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

The last time I had a consistent sleep schedule was in high school

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you snore please GET A SLEEP STUDY

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Love these lack of sleep memes. Once you have kids all these come true with 10x more fatigue bc your body is no longer 18yo Energizer bunny.

4 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Waking up tired is a symptom. Common causes are apnea, and iron deficiency, but there are dozens of others. Doctors can help fix it.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That 2 hours of sleep and thirteen hours bridge look is like an avocado in the middle lol.

*puff puff pass

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Rasta man enjoyed his curry chicken huh?

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#46 because you keep the bottle closed and it can't dry. Leave the cap off for a few hours and see if it still doesn't stick to the bottle.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You have sleep apnea bro. Go get tested!

4 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Sleep apnoea is where you stop breathing in your sleep. Mine was from drinking and getting fatter.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That’s called obstructive sleep apnea. There’s two kinds, but they’re both bad for your brain!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of all the myriad things ADHD can do to people, causing them to not go to sleep when they should is probably the most insidious.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes! ADHD is linked with sleep disorders, so even if you can fall asleep you can still have sleep issues. I have ADHD and narcolepsy.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a couple of sleep disorders... Try doing all the sleep hygiene things, if that doesn't help, see a doctor. Don't wait till youre 35.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Become a 3rd shifter and you will never sleep again!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You should seriously consider going to a sleep clinic... You sound unwell... Maybe allergies or sleep apnea. Either way, improve your health

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

As an American, how much would a sleep study run me? I don't know WHAT my sleep issues are, but I do know I can't afford to do anything.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

^ This. I have insurance and still forgo going to the doctor because of a high deductible. Fucking American healthcare and their shenanigans

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

By the number of memes, I have pretty good hunch why you aren't sleeping much

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I saw a specialist to fix my sleep. The effect it has had on me is amazing. Even my back pain has gone.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Time to say hello to my one and only friend, the mattress I’ve had for 14 years. It may smell funny to you but it smells like hugs to me.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

#1 5 years of night shift has taught me this

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Glue doesn't stick to its bottle because if it did the glue wouldn't be able to come out.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's 8:13 on a Saturday morning and this hit close to home :(

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

#43 3. 2 for my head and one between my legs.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thats ideal, but one more for in between your arms if you sleep on your side. I knock out easier on my left side with that formula

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm the Nap Queen, and I'm hoping for more naps for everyone! <3 <3 <3

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Apparently 8 hours isn’t actually a healthy human sleep cycle. It’s like 4 asleep, 8 awake, 4 asleep, 8 awake.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hope OP gets a sleep study. Decent chance of apnea here. #46 needs room air for glue to stick, none in bottle

4 years ago | Likes 70 Dislikes 0

I thought the same thing

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

My girlfriend fell asleep on my arm, started snoring louder and louder, finally snored so loud she woke up, and repeated twice.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have concerns. Meanwhile, I haven't slept well since I deployed, but I don't wake up myself snoring!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did one and found out I have a dorm of narcolepsy where u drop into REM too quickly. So I get 8hours and very little to show for it.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

haha "room air"

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Work in a hospital long enough and that's what happens

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I don’t think they’re all from one person. Out of curiosity, which one do you think signals apnea? Just as a personal concern.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Daytime tiredness, loud snoring, waking with sore throat a d/or headache, extreme fatigue, high blood pressure, short or chubby neck 1/2

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Happy to answer any questions. From a nurse with sleep apnea

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

“Daytime tiredness” and “extreme fatigue” fit me to a T, and that’s scary. I’m 22 for reference.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I’m 35, it stinks. Might need to get your thyroid checked too.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doc just gave me Trazodone. Haven’t had a good nights sleep in years.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Trazodone is the only thing I've been given for sleep that doesn't make me feel like a zombie the next day. I hope it works well for you!

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It didn't for me. First off, it only works at ALL if I take it like an hour before, not immediately. Second problem is, while it does help

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

with the sleep itself, I'm 80% zombie for most of the next day. (This was half of a 50mg tablet.)

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That sounds scary, even for my normally anemic self.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I appreciate the feedback! Going to start it tomorrow since I have a couple of days off, I can gauge side effects.

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It does help you feel tired, it makes me feel super groggy the next morning. But it does help you fall asleep. Another option could be /1

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Different for everyone; I might have been affected different because I'm also on a regular antidepressant as well. But there's lots of meds

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

#43 Been hunting for the perfect pillow, but don't return any. I'm now up to 8 and swap them based on how i feel like sleeping that night.

4 years ago | Likes 136 Dislikes 0

I stick with my Mein Pillow.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Purple pillow was it for me. Many years. Many pillows.

4 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

My son got a Purple pillow. He won't sleep on anything else now.

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Got a buckwheat pillow.... And hate normal pillows now

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I live out of hotels for work and if they give me a double queen bed room then I make an 8 pillow super nest and sleep like a champion

4 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

I want your job

4 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Lol. I’m using the same flat-ass pillow from, like, middle school. Just folded that bitch in half like 4 years ago.

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is the way.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you tried the new Pillow Cube?

4 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

This? https://www.wish.com/product/ddi-2323874-moana-pua-pillow-cube---white---case-of-8-5c5fd77d9501e95780dbdf56

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No because holy hell, that price tag.

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Three pillows and a bed wedge, because my stomach hates my esophagus. I have many sleep issues, but the pillow situation is purely for this.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Oh, and to clarify, the three pillows are not all stacked up. Two under my head (upper part of wedge), one under upper back (on lower part).

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How tall is your wedge?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Looks like about 6 inches (15cm), maybe? Angle's something like 15-20 degrees? Estimate just from eyeballing it.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ahh.. I made the mistake of going with a foot tall one, figured bigger is better…

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The sorrow is when your perfect down pillow stops being fluffy, but the new down pillow is TOO fluffy.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I bought my brother a highly-rated pillow and it came with extra stuffing, but you can remove some, too.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I put my old ones in the dryer on occasion with wool dryer balls.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Finally ditched pillows all together. Mostly sleep on my back now, and it’s pretty good.

4 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I choose this guy's back, too!

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ummm

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No pillow, on back, hand underneath the neck. Perfection.

4 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I was gonna say I've found the real psychopaths but I sleep with 5 pillows so... I've found my people

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Five pillows?!? I don’t... what?!? How? Are one of those nesters?

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

2 at the back as the base support one in the middle to add a nice diagonal edge then the two squishy ones on that so my head is on an angle>

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The second you start counting how much time you have left to sleep, it's over. You're getting none.

4 years ago | Likes 105 Dislikes 1

Thats not true. I look at how much time I have left to sleep, then wind up going an hour over that

4 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is gospel

4 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Start imagining things in colour. It helps me drift away.

4 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What do you mean? Like just start thinking about random colors?

4 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I think about specific settings and try to place myself there.

4 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh I see. I often think about being on a secluded beach. That helps.

4 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

yeah, picture the colours there. Picture the sand, texture, what colour the sky is etc. I hope this helps!
