Most countries have tax agreements so you won't get double taxed, even someone with a US citizenship needs to make over 100K or so before the USA demands some money iirc.

Nope, American expats are still expected to file taxes in both countries. You get to deduct the taxes you paid to the host country from your tax liability, but you'll still owe taxes to the US.

Everything takes a million years to do in government, we're dealing with the fallout of social media pushing hatred and fear to put citizens, so we've had quite a few alt right demonstrations and violence, but the majority of the Irish people are well educated, critical thinking, and mostly decent. There's worse places.
