Classy as fuck.

no, not 1 cannon 16 times. it's 16 cannons fired once. period artillery couldnt be reloaded quickly enough. He did it on purpose.

What a dick. Shooting the cattle with a cannon. ;)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You got any more artifacts for that image?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Cannons can remove cows from the stage. I think the Muppets proved that.

Eh, Baroque music gets dull pretty fast. 90% of Vivaldi's stuff sounds the same, for instance. I prefer 20th century Russian classical.

TIL he was the frontman for AC/DC before they became famous.

I like classical if I'm stoned out of my gourd and have nothing better to do, but my default is usually classic rock.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Which is also pretty solid when stoned out of ones gourd!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And it is glorious!

When I worked for the orchestra, we did it a few times a summer as an outdoor show. Got local re-enactors to bring cannons. BOOM! Awesome.

Johan Strauss II's polka "On the hunt" requires a gun to be fired https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auf_der_Jagd.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I listened to it in our local theater and the conductor did fire a gun with a blank.

"Remove cattle from stage" - the fuck?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Helicopter Quarter is pretty rad too

The head music teacher in my school district had a love for 1812. We played it at the same huge concert for 4th - 12th grade every year (1)

Until the accident (2)

Better!?

I don't need to know why this was created or even the context, I'm just glad it does.

This is likely from b3ta. It's a British forum type site where stuff like this gets made all the time. Cyriac used to post there.

Well when Old MacDonald almost lost the farm all the animals decided to start chipping in!

As fun as this is, the section of sheet music is more of a prank and is not really playable. Faerie’s Aire and Death Waltz – John Stump

Oh my god it reminds me of people who confuse "U.N Owen was her?" (Flandre's Theme) with Death waltz, makes me so mad

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You must be real fun at parties..

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Well okay then.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My county played 1812 live with civil war cannons for years on the 4th of july. Best ever

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I used to carry a printout of that piece in my violin case. It was the source of many laughs

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We had it as an audition piece and any who legit attempted it got in. Those who have up didn't get in. You only had to try.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I've got a full sheet of that, pretty good stuff. "Release the Penguins"

My band teacher had a giant poster of that song on her wall.

Your band teacher sounds almost as cool as mine.

'go fast.' I didn't know Sonic the Hedgehog was such an influential figure in the world of randomly-assembled sheet music.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

People who think classical is boring are the same ones listening to generic bands singing about how no one understands them. So there you go

9 years ago | Likes 120 Dislikes 17

Yeah classical music is pretty boring. I like jazz and funk, so I guess there goes your generalization

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Some people find it boring. Just because it's complex doesn't make it interesting to everyone. I like it, some don't, that's fine.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Saying "generic bands" is just as tasteless as saying classical music is boring. People like different things.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

"Classical Music is boring" *Turns on four piece band playing the same 3 chords played in 4/4."

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

As a lover of "classical" pre-1900s music, I would agree that baroque and early classical is often dull. Romantic is where it's at.

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

oh you special little snowflakes

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

I was born in the wrong generation, nobody listens to good music anymore

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Meh, classical is boring. Unless this somehow classifies under classical https://youtu.be/2nKqerDrg7M

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes yes, all music fits into categories, thank you for noticing.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I don't like classical, but I listen to jazz. Is that acceptable?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

i think classical music is boring. i prefer when its mixed with rock n roll https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2cKpuh4yWJA

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was expecting Metallica S&M.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Orchestras mixed with rock tunes are so good. Bryan Adams was known for doing it very well. See: Cuts Like a Knife.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

think that falls under "big band" though im just a random person on the internet, so what do i know?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

it does, but "big band" is basically a rock n roll orchestra

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Huh? Big band is a jazz term.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And this song is definitely big band jazz, not orchestra.
