I got a text from a random number saying they think my cat is hanging around their house, they sent pictures it looked so much like her but it's been 4 months and countless false positives I wasn't sure, but I went out and set my live trap and a few hours later I had her. She came home and was super comfortable with me and my wife and even the dog, the new kittens she isn't so happy about so right now everyone has their area and we will introduce everyone slowly. She was 11 miles away into the city, so many people and traffic and houses it's a true miracle we got her back, I couldn't count the amount of times I was crying thinking the worst for my baby kitty.

Put a collar on the cat. Put an airtag in it.
Do it today.
Set a reminder to test it every 6 months.
I would be heartbroken if either of my cats was lost.
I also have a tag from these guys

She's back! That's awesome! Kept checking back with your acc, still missed it by almost 2 weeks. 4 months, wow! So, so happy for you guys =)

Oh! This is fantastic news! I am genuinely thrilled to hear that your little lady made it back home safely. I've been hoping to see this post for months. I deeply appreciate you thinking of me, and I'm sorry for not noticing sooner (the holiday was hectic). Give her a squeeze for me, please, and I look forward to potentially seeing how all of your small friends get along in the near future. ☆

She's a little rattled from being gone so long but she's happy to be back, we have her in her own little apartment of the master bedroom, bathroom and large walk in closet just to keep her separated from the new kittens because the few times they've been at the closed door she's hissed at them so I figured adjustment time is necessary.

Good call. It's natural for cats to be territorial, so just give thek tike to acclimate to one another. I'm very glad that things are all working out, slowly but surely. Keep taking good care of this scruffy little lady. ☆
