Front view of the mansion

Our front porch

View out of my kitchen window

The pond

Our very handy gate that keeps everyone out (not, lol)

Cozy fireplace

Doesn't even seem real. Like a little patch of heaven. I would love to see more! The barn, for instance. The decor. I'm in love!

Is that a UMass diploma I see next to the hearth?

Nice boots and helmet.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Can I buy your cottage?....please

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Your car is even tiny!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

No cottage cheese?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

View from the kitchen window isn’t great because it’s the only one without dog

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This kind of stuff makes me hate that most of the jobs in my field are in Houston, blandest city in the US.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm insanely jealous. Congrats.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What a tease! Moarrrrrrr. Show me bathroom, kitchen, bedrooms, you know, like the house.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

I would really like to see the inside also! @travelfarXridehorses

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Wow. You live in a magical wonderland.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That is what I want my house to look like. Just need a good porch and a fire pit, then I'll have everyone over for BBQ.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Great post. The pic of the pond is spectacular. The cottage is cute too.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So serene

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I've always wanted to live in a cottage and this solidifies it. You home is gorgeous @OP

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Looks so peaceful, just leave me with a few books and a case of wine and come back for me in a week ;)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Somehow it never occurred to me to hang boots upside down. I️ feel so enlightened

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Front pooch *

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'll buy it from you for tree fiddy.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Two doors in front? Was this a duplex or a double-door tractor shed?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

When you open both doors, you get a whole wall of screened in porch from the inside- hence the two doors!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

*looks at first picture* Huh? You mean opening the inside doors and not the outside? That doesn't make a screened-in porch. It's just doors.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have the same dog bed!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Walmart for the win!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Why are there two front doors? Was it a duplex at one point? Reminds me of the slave houses on plantations where I'm from. Lovely home tho.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Was a slave house. Now they open and make that wall one big screened in wall

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

So..... You enjoy cottaging eh?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nah it’s horrible. I have to look at beautiful landscapes and horses

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is that the dog in the distance of pic #1 takin a dump...

8 years ago | Likes 218 Dislikes 4

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

He is however standing on the wall

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Up-Vote for ya, ya made me zoom in. Might be but not sure. I like to imagine he was taking a nice big dump!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wow, good eyes! So the darn dog is on every single picture... can you find it on #3 ,too?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, reflection?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

No, he hides behind the bushes in the middle. There's also a fly on the window

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Nope. That’s his Creepy pose he takes when he wants you to throw something. He’s obsessed with fetching

8 years ago | Likes 122 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now for the real questions: how's your internet speed and stability? :p

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The owner of the farm spent a shot ton getting us high speed Internet because they work in dc. So it’s baller

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Alright so then it IS a dream place :D

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If I had that, I would never leave that place. Nice dogo. Fiat on the other hand is too high maintenance.

8 years ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 4

I’ve put 125k on this car in just over 2 years. I’ve only replaced are tires and oil. Tortellini the fiat has never, ever let me down ????

8 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

On a fiat? But why.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I thought 125k was how much money you had spent! Also my Fiats name is Marcel.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I thought I was the only one that named my Fiat. Mine is called Blueberry.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I've never met someone that doesn't name their cars.... Mine is named Wasabi. Last one was Sushi. Both Nissans

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Never named a car. VWs and a Jeep. Don't know names for any of my friends' cars, either.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I had 3 fiats so far, ok they were used cars, but the repairs just killed me. They all do start after cca 140k. But 2years 125k =impressive.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Shit! So it’s coming lol

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Might be time to cut and run lol

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You are required to provide GPS coordinates. I'm coming.

8 years ago | Likes 74 Dislikes 2

Coming? You're not even breathing hard...

Creepy and kind at the same time ????

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

This cottage is so peaceful and beautiful, I wish I had the opportunity to spend some time there. That's all. Thanks for sharing.

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

Lol my happy faces turned to ???, sorry!! I’m literally an hour old to imgr. That came out wrong and I appreciate your kind words ????

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

Which country is this? Its beautiful

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

As a veteran Imgurian: When a fellow Imgurian asks for GPS coordinates, the etiquette says you should post the goddamn coordinates. Jeez!

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

And everyone who sees the post about a place is invited. Imgur etiquette, simple stuff!

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I must know what country?

8 years ago | Likes 52 Dislikes 1

looks British

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Except for the the first picture

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

West Virginia

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Okay, just don't drink the water, then.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Check post history, looks like they live near the Shenandoah river in the USA

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Almost heaven, West Virginia, blue ridge mountains

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's definitely a European Can.r

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

UPDATE: Checked out their instagram. its somewhere in virginia

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Mazda or Nissan

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That’s a fiat but they def exist in the US

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Car wheel seems on the left? And the license plate looks like an american one (white-ish). Architecture of the cottage seems a copied style

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Virginia!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My money is on Ireland

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It sure doesn't look like the part of Ireland I live in which makes me sad

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it was Ireland then the cottage would be built of stone. We don't really build with wood - it's too fuckin' rainy. 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I wish, that’s where I’m trying to go grad school! It’s virginia

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

It's stunning! Adding it to the list of places I want to visit. The list that grows 10x quicker than it shrinks

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Weirdly, including flights, accommodation and fees, it might be cheaper for you to go to grad school in Ireland than in USA.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thought the same. Too little hedges for the UK. Although, I've never been to Ireland. Is it that nice there?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yea my brother got married there this summer. Like England but just generally more wild and epic.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"Like England but just generally more wild and epic" is the new motto for Bord Failte

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Depends on the definiton of "nice" - That green? Hell yes. That sunny, though? Fuck no. Rains 300 days a year

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Just got back from Ireland. It is absolutely this gorgeous. I want to move.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I would suggest UK, but build quality of everything looks too good to be Britain. So probably not Britain.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 3

Id say America but that stone wall isnt very American, theres no borders nearby

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

we have stone walls and borders closed down years ago

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They sell Fiat 500s in the Us?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yep.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, they made a return a few years ago. I think they're higher quality now than the last time they were in America in the 70's

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes! I think they started selling them stateside 2012/2013ish

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

So it’s under the name of Fiat/Lancia or Chrysler, cause they are selling new 300C’s as a Lancia model in Europe.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Definitely not Britain. The car's license plate looks like a single string of characters. Our license format has two blocks.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Plus the steering wheel is on the left.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I didn't even notice that.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How in the shit can you see the reg of that car? CSI zoom and enhance?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nevermind. I opened in a new tab and zoomed

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean, I can't read it...just make out the shape of the character string printed on it.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

USA!

8 years ago | Likes 72 Dislikes 0

I am pleased that you drive fiat 500 that is made in Serbia. :)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah but what type of internet speeds can you get out there tho

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

USA! USA! USA!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

What self respecting 'Murican drives a Fiat?

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 9

The kind that buys what they like without giving a shit about your opinion

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

Yeah! Free Speech and Opinions!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I personally was going to say something about fiat myself, but that comeback was fantastic I commend you sir or madam

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Kansas?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Do you see the hills?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Is Virginia

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm in Virginia!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Silly. Kansas doesn't have trees.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

We have trees. The Flint Hills are the best kept secret nobody, other than locals, will ever bother exploring b/c, Yknow, Kansas.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Some of Kansas does...
