My friends and I look at it more like division survival mode than something story driven. We mostly do voyages between fighting ships.

From what I've played, the fun did seem to lean toward fighting than treasure hunting. If only there were voyages that involved doing that.

I'm sick of this argument about cost. You should consider the cost per hour of enjoyment. 100 hrs on SoT is $0.60 while a 2hr movie is $7.50
