Yeah, it’s cool. Until you realize that even a video call won’t be a valid way to test if someone’s who they say they are on the internet.
This will result in predators on dating apps having a much easier time and with misinformation spreaders having yet another efficient tool in the toolbox.

We’ve had a simpler, less reliable version of this before. I remember some streamer got outed as a dude after successfully pretending to be an attractive girl on livestreams because the filter got disengaged for a few frames.
