Count Dankula found GUILTY of offensive humour.

I am beyond disgusted with my nation right now.

Mark Meechan, a Scottish Youtuber under the name 'Count Dankula', has been found guilty in court for making a video where he taught a Pug dog to perform a Nazi salute as a joke to annoy his girlfriend. He faces a year in prison after spending two whole years at the mercy of the courts, being delayed over and over again.

I am ashamed of my country, I am ashamed of my nation. We are arresting people for jokes on the internet now. I am horrified and utterly embarassed by this United Kingdom, I wish I wasn't a citizen of it now.

I want to leave this drowning hellhole of a country before its too late, before we all start getting arrested for our dark jokes on Imgur.

I can only hope that Mark Meechan can appeal this, or gets off without any prison time, any punishment at this point is a total farce.

To those reading this, you may not agree with making jokes about that subject, but we've all made dark, morbid jokes in the past, and if this can happen to one of us, then it can happen to all of us.

EDIT: Mark's sentencing has been delayed until the end of April, there are now numerous petitions online, please consider doing your part and also consider sending a letter or email to your local MP if you are a British citizen, the louder our voice is, the better a chance we have of helping out this man:

Honestly, people are always complaining about how messed up America is but the truth is, every country has some messed up shit goin on.

As infuriating as this is, I gotta give count props for smiling at cameras to spite those fuckers

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 6

I think that calling UK a "drowning hellhole" is a bit of a stretch, compared to a long list of other countries.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 2

True. Say, didnt the british court release a leader of child protitution ring like 20 years early after serving only 5 years?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Nazis do suck and all, but holy cap this is ridiculous

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 5

That's why he made a video where the Joke is "Nazis are so ludicrously wrong, it is inherently funny, and we should laugh at them."

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

What is ironic to some degree is that nazis hated when people did teach their dog nazi salute. There were some Finns who did that during WW2

8 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 1

Torille.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He was mocking Nazis. And now we have precedent that the Scottish NATIONAL SOCIALIST party believes it's a jailable offence.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

You know who else wouldn't have thought it was funny? Hitler.

8 years ago | Likes 58 Dislikes 5

Unless maybe it was a German Shepherd.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Not saying it is right but it is more than just making the video. The judge felt it was beyond that and that is why it was a hate crime.

8 years ago | Likes 55 Dislikes 18

He was not convicted for a hate crime he was convicted of being grossly offensive get your story straight before you post.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/amp/uk-scotland-glasgow-west-43478925 also the main point was that was over the joke

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was that the judge felt he went beyond a joke and really using the commands he did he kinda have the judge all the ammo to do so.

Whatever side of the political spectrum you are on, charging someone for 'grossly offensive jokes' is terrifyingly Orwellian

8 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 12

No, China's government is Orwellian. Russia is Orwellian. This isn't an arrest for criticizing the government, mate, this is obscenity law.

Monty Python could never exist in this day and age.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 10

Yeah but to be fair Ive never seen usage of the nazi salute in any Monty Python work!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

yeah thats a load of bull, Monty Python exists in this day and age still and could have if they started today.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 11

I remember the Fawlty Towers scene where Cleese was goose-stepping around while flinging up the Nazi salute. The satire would be lost today.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Oh my, yes. Cleese is an outspoken opponent of the way political correctness has stifled comedy and free speech.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

This is really sad. I still do ot understand where this prudishnes comes from

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

A part of communism called political correctness, a brazen attempt to criminalize any language that opponents of the cause might use.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

When you have one party, and that one party had an ideology, it will get out of hand. Humans need a marketplace of ideas, where at least

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

it's safe to discuss these things. Otherwise, a different opinion develops in secret, and the other side isn't even familiar w/ counter args

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I think it's a progressives overreaction. I agree, being progressive is good, but not like this. Not like this.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

It still exists and is still televised so this seems like a strange opinion

8 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 14

And it was thoroughly censored! I can't believe...

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Yeah, underlining that it was HARDER to get Monty Python commissioned in 1969 than it would be today

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Then everyone involved should be put on trial no?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

It wouldn't be allowed to be made today, had it not already reached millions, it would be shut down before gaining steam.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 11

Which sketches do you think would stop it being made?? It was often controversial in the 70s, it's totally benign now

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Haha bullshit. Brits and black humour is strong today.Check Four lions. You yankees have no idea how the rest of the world works.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

...dankula has just been found guilty of a crime for what Monty python did freely in the 70s. let that sink in.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

If by "did freely" you mean, was banned in many of Britain's local councils and international markets. Life of Brian hard a very hard time

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Please he wont be charged. This is just for the show to drive away Britain first. Also dont worry lots of black humour here.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Can we like get a source on the offences he committed? I'm guessing there must be a kind of hate crime charge.

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 3

Not a hate crime; an obscenity charge.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The thing is no one even reported it. The CPS and Police had no witness or complaints and used a "Diversity statement" as their "witness"

His GF talked about how cute her pug is, he makes video about how she says this and makes it not cute by turning it into a 'nazi'.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

The media gets involved then he's charged with hate speech and supporting Nazism even though he clearly dislikes Nazis and was making a joke

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

He was charged with transmitting grossly offensive material via the Communications Act, not hate speech. There is a big difference.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

It was just a prank bro!

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

Sometimes it actually is a prank. No one was injured. No one complained. The police had to go out of their way to find an offended Jew.

Subject matter does not represent opinion. Everything is funny under the right context. EVERYTHING!

8 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 10

well we dont know the context here, so lets no jump to conclusions.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ah, but the prosecution argued (successfully, apparently) that context didn't matter in this case, even though it mattered in other cases.

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

Not even making this up. I wish I were.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

My country is in fucking shambles, mate. For foks sake, this gets me agitated. Fucking cunts.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Just because you think its funny doesnt mean its ok. Prosecution would be a nightmare if that was a legit defense...

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 11

Context. You need to learn the difference. Everything can be made a joke of under the right context

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Disagree. It should be fairly easy to prove a legit Nazi vs someone making a joke in poor taste.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

It isnt. In germany we have been dealing with Nazis and Neo-Nazis since the end of WW2, if takes a lot of work if they know what they do.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 5

Source of being hard to convict? A lot of Neo-Nazi tend to be pretty dumb I'd imagine they are easy to convict.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

German Identitarian Movement would be an example. They carefully avoid old racist rethoric.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

The same can be said for if you think it's offensive doesn't mean it's ok to convict him. Prosecution will be easy for these cases as intent

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 3

Nazi salutes carry a lot of weight to a lot of people.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Should be what is prosecuted. this case intent is a joke but if clear evidence can be found to insight hatred he should be convicted

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

True. But as an American, it is my duty to defend all the cockwaffles want to awful jokes. It is a slippery slope to a world like 1984

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can understand that, but think of it this way. By joking about Hitler and Nazis, I show them they have no power over me. When we fear 1/2

ah I forgot that one time. oh well It was used once for that reason. everyone's upset thinking I had a greater purpose behind that statement

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It didn't just fall out of the sky, they wrote it specifically because guns were what allowed them to tell the British to go fuck themselves

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

*The French army and navy told the British to go fuck themselves. The Colonials were nowhere near winning that war.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, the British having to ship troops across the entire fucking ocean did that.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 4

They already had troops in America, who could've easily crushed any unarmed rebellion, just like they did to the natives when they got there

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

And the French helping out in order to stick it to the Brits.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Ah yes because dumb asses with guns is literally the only thing keeping us safe

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 11

Actually the wording is, 'Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press'. No qualifiers as to what speech.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

No, it is the freedom to express any opinion without fear of punishment. The whole point is that no one can decide how you express yourself.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 5

This is truth, because if it was not, the SJWs would be winning due to being offended at everything. We'd be getting arrested all over.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Not yet

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

They don't even define what "can offend someone" so you could report someone for being offended that they smiled at you in a funny way

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

It only matters if it offends someone in power like a judge.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Of course, but power changes hands eventually and the tables will be flipped over what offends whose in power. History repeating itself

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

What's worse is the word "Perceived" in those laws someone only has to perceive what you say as offensive and you're jailed

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

I'm offended that they're offended, so put them in prison too.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exactly, that's what starts the entire rabbit hole of that insanity. Of course they'll essentially say it's okay if they do it though

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 30

You are wrong.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

censorship and criminalization of speech no matter how revolting is this one of the first steps to totalitarianism after gun confiscation

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

Supporting to kill a whole race is a hate crime and has nothing to do with free speech. Raising your right hand/paw is supporting it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 18

What you support is irrelevant in terms of being Criminally prosecutable its basically punishing thought crime it’s disturbingly Orwellian

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What if I never learned about Nazis and raised my r.hand for an innocuous reason? Is it wrong if you unintentionally do it? According to 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

your logic and vaguely defined rules, you actually support Nazis for that. How would it be different than doing it to mock Nazis?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I dont think you know what the word "crime" means. Supporting an ideology, any ideology is not a crime

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Supporting Nazi ideology is a crime in Germany. But this is Scotland and apperantly they find Count dumbass guilty of a Hate Crime.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He posted a public video where he repeatedly says “gas the Jews” “Gas the Jews” “want to gas the Jews?” Wtf did he think would happen?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

you just said gas the jews 3 times. should i call teh police or are you gonna hand yourself in?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There was that person on twitter arrested after thy tweeted a poor-taste joke about a number of people were knocked down by a bin lorry

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

What I remember about this was that it was offensive when they did it, but not when the newspapers shared it with a much larger audience

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I feel there is a massive difference between posting something on FB or Twitter, where people have to actively follow you, to on the street.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was the irony of the papers saying how grossly offensive it was whilst reproducing it word for word.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

So, hate speech

8 years ago | Likes 115 Dislikes 20

for it to be hate speech it has to be hateful or an attack. so this would not even count as that

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

To be fair, isn’t it illegal in Germany to perform a nazi salute or have nazi paraphernalia? I can get why Europe is more harsh on it.

8 years ago | Likes 75 Dislikes 20

there was a case of a German youtuber having to pay some thousand euros for saying he will deport striking train conductors to auschwitz

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Nothing says justice like throwing a guy in jail for a year for making his dog do something funny as a joke.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 7

Is saying the Holocaust didn't happen considered illegal too? Their Muslim migrants have no problem saying it loud and proud

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 24

They're idiots, but they shouldn't be thrown in jail ffs.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

It is. Various muslim preachers got fined or were forbidden from speaking in public.

8 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 2

It is illegal in France, Robert Faurisson did go to jail for trying to prove that gas chambers never existed.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I can’t speak for that as I’m in America but people say it didn’t happen here too and people just roll their eyes or try to prove them wrong

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

the only good thing that could come from this is if he is quoted at some point as saying "I did it for the Lulz!"

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Not throw a person in prison for it. But enough to intimidate a person with charges for it, especially a well known guy with an audience

8 years ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 7

That's incredibly dumb. First of all, human beings have the right to free speech. And if offensive speech isn't protected, then there is no

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 12

Only illegal if you show them in public. Fine and/prison for up to threeyears. You might also be charged with attempting to incite>

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

also german here. yes, it is. but there are exceptions for artistic and historical context. this includes satire and comedy.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

for example "obersalzberg", a series of sketches based on "stromberg" (german version of "the office").

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So, is Scotland Yard going to raid the offices of the BBC any minute now?

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 2

Will they go back and watch old monty python sketches and arrest all of them now too? They had plenty of nazi jokes in their show.

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 3

Depends if it was the law is ex post facto

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

RIP satire

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This wasn't satire.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sounds extremely subjective. Anything could offend anyone.

8 years ago | Likes 385 Dislikes 4

I'll see you in court.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yuuuup, that's the beauty of the law if you are an authoritarian asshole, the problem if you are a good person

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

How dare you say such a thing.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The law is based upon how your action/speech is perceived

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Which is fucking stupid cause how one person/group perceives it is not the same as others. So how the fuck is one POV better than anothers??

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

His sentencing grossly offends me. Should I press charges.

8 years ago | Likes 50 Dislikes 2

Yes

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

most laws “sound subjective” before there’s an actual court and judge applying them with all the particulars of the case

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 2

That's the point.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's because he played Hitler's speeches to the dog while filming and uploaded it to YouTube, not because he made a joke.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 5

So he played a part of documented history in a video? Will my history professor get convinced for showing footage of ww2 Germany now?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

No it’s not anything offending anyone OP’s post is highly misleading 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 3

The codes do expressly include Nazi symbols and salutes. Basically the UK has some laws that say don’t do Nazi shit.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

"Sounds subjective" lol If only we had a group of people who's job it was to interpret the written law...

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 4

Generally, that's what juries are for. To act as the "conscience of the community" and determine if it is "grossly offensive."

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 3

there was no jury in his trial, just a judge who didn't get the joke.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is he not entitled to a jury trial over there, or did he opt for a court trial?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That being said, principles of free speech should preclude criminal liability in all but certain cases (defamation, fighting words).

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Haha yeah I was about to say

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They don't really have free speech in the UK though

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I take that back, there should be no such thing as criminal defamation.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Spot on. The UK's judiciary is currently aware of a substantial disparity between the public definition of 'offensive' and its legal one. >

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

>So hopefully Mr. Dankula appeals to a superior court which should hopefully be less eager to exclude the video's context.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Exactly. Now you're cooking with gas. Probably Jews, but hey.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You made me snort my coffee. Plus one. Also, I'm grossly offended. Jail for you.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

~Just UK Things~

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The judge said offensiveness could be determined objectively. You can't make this shit up.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 3

Bad taste isn't a crime. This should never have got to court.

8 years ago | Likes 139 Dislikes 5

honestly true, i taught my dog how to shake and she waves her paw up in the same motion because of obvious reasons, prison for this is

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 2

absurd, is it not tasteful? absolutely but losing a year of your life over a prank that school children do daily is insane

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 1

Where is the dividing line between offensive & 'grossly' offensive? Bad taste is bad taste, but criminalizing speech cripples the people.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Remember y’all, stupid internet jokes aren’t acceptable but this is:

8 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 26

Trying to use a picture with no research whatsoever. Read first reply, these 15 upvotes say a lot too.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 3

Of course. Everybody on here researches the shit they want to defend, but don’t when it fuels their bigotry.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Had zero downvotes when I came across it. Funny thing is after this protest people called for stricter laws. I wonder if that played a 1/?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Role in the laws used to convict the guy above. Wouldn't surprise me. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This is a protest in London. Apologies were offered by the community and arrests were made under similar legislation as above. Link below

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 2

I'm guessing Daniel Tosh, Anthony Jeselnik, Louis C.K., Jim Jeffries and Jimmy Carr aren't allowed to entertain in your country either.

8 years ago | Likes 2030 Dislikes 25

Jim Jeffries isn't a comedian. He's just an Australian guy. There are millions of Australians with that same sense of humour. Overrated.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Didn't he die?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

It's because "elephants aren't orange you fucking retard!"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Especially Joey Diaz

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Those are rich celebrities, the defendant is a poor Scotsman so OF COURSE he's treated differently.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Well most of them are pretty famous and wealthy. Not easy targets.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

Difference here is he has no power to stop a crusading CPS officer

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Not convicted of offensive humour, convicted of a hate crime for the 'Sieg Heil' and 'gas the Jews' comments. Still a bit rubbish.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

but the point is that humour is being called a hate crime

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Those are people with power & money, much harder to arrest.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Jeselnik ran out of fucks in 1981

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jimmy Carr is often on prime time TV. OK it's tamer than his stand up but still risky for whatever he's doing

8 years ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

Until the OP links to a credible source where we could actually read the reasoning behind the verdict (and the actual charges)...

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

... I'd suggest waiting before you condemn the nation. It's entirely possible the verdict is actually "He violated owner's rights"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

That's not the way we do things in the UK. We read a biased snippet, then jump to a kneejerk conclusion and ignore any contrary evidence.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

So far, only Breitbart and other extremist sites seem to write about this.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Wasn't convicted of offensive humour... its fucking Scotland, that's their everyday language!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

As long as they only mock White Male Christians they are fine. Blasphemy laws only protect minorities.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 8

Jimmy Carr has said way, way, way worse jokes. And he sells out massive theaters on the UK...what a double standard!

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 4

This guy wasn't performing.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 8

A YouTube video that's comedic isn't a performance? Since when?

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

Since his defense in court quite literally claimed it was not intended for public consumption.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

exactly my point

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

They're fine. They're actually funny.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 13

Found the communist

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I didn't realize only communists had a sense of humor. Thats why Yakov is such an icon i guess.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Judging by your reaction to this case, you're the only people who don't have a sense of humor

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Consider, if you have no sense of taste, you'll eat any old shit because its all the same. Otherwise, you're a bit more discerning.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

This case is an edge one. Those comics mentioned are demonstrably funny. They make a living doing it. Dankula? He has a tougher row to hoe.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

how dare people have a different sense of humour than you. to the gulag with them

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

What NO! I want to see this guy !! Such charisma

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

To be fair Daniel Tosh isn't entertaining anywhere.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 6

Came looking for this reply <3

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Whatever does it for you, glad I could help.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Anywhere at all...

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I’m glad I got to see him on Tosh Tour Twenty Ten cuz besides his most recent special, the show has gone down hill. Miss his stand up.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, I mean, probably not Louis...

8 years ago | Likes 116 Dislikes 3

He's funny because he spent his career convincing us he's exactly the kind of guy that would do what he did, and was oblivious about it.

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Love Louis CK. :)

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 5

Be careful he might sexually assault you over the phone

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 8

In person would be more realistic

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I'd rather be sexually assaulted over the phone than drugged and raped by bill cosby

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Are those the only 2 options?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Unless someone really wants to see his dick. Everyone has their fetish.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 2

As a straight man, fuck it, I'd watch him do it at this point.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ill admit... after all the buzz i’m pretty curious.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Well he got demonized even though he asked each time ...

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He didn't ask each time though. The problem is he used his position and their trust to pleasure himself in front of them. I don't believe he

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

should have been categorized with people like Cosby and Weinstein. Cosby drugged women and Weinstein raped women. C.K. didn't touch them.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Comedians do comendy shows, with the correct context for comedy, even offensive comedy.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This guy admitted that he made the video for the enjoyment of himself, his girlfriend and a few friends. Can't use "I'm just a comedian"

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

In the video, he explains that the context at the beginning.

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

im confused. whats your point? that only if its your job are you allowed to make certain jokes (genuine question not trying to put words in

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

your mouth)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dont f ol rget bill burr

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The laddddddddies

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I will be sure not to f ol rget him.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You wanna get a cup of covfefe?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do they show South Park in the UK?

8 years ago | Likes 586 Dislikes 9

Just not that episode with the queen in ig

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

South Park puts a disclaimer at the beginning saying you shouldn't watch it. They can show whatever they want.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, just try watching the Super Best Friends episode(S05E03) online legitimately anywhere.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They have Muhammad in that episode.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

That's what I was thinking. South Park does waaaaaaaay worse things all the time and the creators being arrested for that shit would be

8 years ago | Likes 47 Dislikes 2

I don't really see why this was a thing with the dog... but, with South Park, all of those way worse things? People get comeuppance.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyone knows Cartman is a POS. The episode where Stan took down Mormonism had the Mormon later call him out for being a dick, etc.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

FUCKING INSANE. I'm so fucking glad I don't live in a shit country like that.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 6

SP was heavily inspired by British comedy legends. We absolutely can say worse stuff than US on TV.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This case seems to be a problem because of a perception of being anti-semetic (more stories appearing). Courts putting fear ahead of justice

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Genuinely, this is a rarity. @op may be exaggerating a bit. We're hardly a dictatorship - we have freedom of speech; no racist/nazism tho

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 3

Unless the bigotry is from the islamic apparently

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

Yes.

8 years ago | Likes 287 Dislikes 3

Then what the fucking fuck?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That makes no sense bruh!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

THEN WHAT THE FUCK!?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

the difference here is that South Park brings in more money consistently

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Did they arrest the cartoons?

8 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 1

They censored Mohammad but not the holocaust

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And kyles speech at the end

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And they had no problems with the episode where Cartman admired and basically became Hitler?

8 years ago | Likes 228 Dislikes 0

The law does not apply to rich people dont be silly.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

South Park isn't some shlub in Scottland though.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think they'd state the difference as being that Cartman is pretty much evil which acknowledges Hitler as bad? I guess?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

While I do believe you are right in stating that, I also can't believe he turned the dog anti-Semitic with his antics.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The UK is pretty shit. Right extremists on one side, left extremists on the other. No free speech, and no weed.

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

I can deal with everything else but...no weed? wtfff

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I'm in the UK, I got weed.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

im gonna need a season and episode number pls and thank you

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ricky Gervais?

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

should be arrested for being offensively unfunny.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Ricky did express concern for this case a few months back, hopefully he will speak about it again.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

Fantastic news, great spot there bud.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The amount of aids in that thread of people just spouting off idiocy is absurd. "Jokes cant be jokes" "Muslims are EVIL"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jimmy Carr and fucking Frankie Boyle are from Britain and get away with much more offensive shit. I guess it’s a matter of popularity

8 years ago | Likes 284 Dislikes 4

Frankie is on a different level to Jimmy, infact anyone...

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think it's also due to them being funny and not just spouting things that only internet edgelords think are funny.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

i dont find it funny so it should be illegal

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Saying that the reason he is being arrested is that you can't claim "satire" if it's just shouting insults, maybe shouldn't be illegal tho.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

And what political wing their humor flies under.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

But wait! How many followers did this guy have!?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Didn't 3 millions people watch that video (0 complaint), before a policeman found it due to keyword?

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

123k. Enough to get noticed and become a warning, not enough to get impunity.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

But only since the accusations, before that it were less than 500

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

so...they went after a literal nobody, for wrongthink

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I think we need to see whether this guy's videos are comedy or nazi hate

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 6

He has personally stated that he does not hold any resentment for any race or religion, in fact many Jewish people have come to his support.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hold no position, but for the sake of being the devil's advocate: wouldn't that be exactly what he'd say if he did harbor some resentment?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

His YouTube is like half making fun of people and news other half is comedy like making a parody of the countries song from animaniacs.

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

The important question- what's the dogs position on racial hygiene & does he resemble Charlie Chaplin in his markings?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He once did a video about animal rights groups want to stop pug breeding and his dog started making hitler noises

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We have, they're not. The suggestions that they are the latter are malicious lies
