Ask conservatives, why the embryo is a 'human being', but the placenta - which has its own DNA, which is a mix of either both the mother and the embryo or it has its own DNA - isn't a human being. Or why there's a reasonable chance that siblings aren't - biologically speaking - related.

My friend group in college largely consisted of LGBTQ+ people, I was like, maybe one of three people who were straight and cis. Though I'm also a minority, so maybe that was my cliche to fill.

Also, problematically, against her will which is a very troubling thing for a comic author to put to paper. Later authors rewrote her origins to be a more nuanced approach, but Furman making Arcee trans because he thought the concept of gendered robots was stupid at the time, was massively insensitive across the board.

Not unless we try. I'm Latvian. It's an important historical and cultural symbol here. What we have banned, however, is the display of actual Nazi/Soviet symbols, like the flag or other "memorabilia" (unless it's in a museum, or for educational purposes, ofc)

If they knew that far more people are actually intersex than even realize it (because they could have the full set of outer sex characteristics of one sex) they would also lose their mind. Also your chromosomes can say you're one sex and you can have all of the phenotypes of the other sex and never know unless you get tested specifically for it. Biology is fascinating and debunks every one of their stupid arguments.

My mom watched a show years ago that was about intersex people whose parents chose a gender for them that they grew up feeling wrong in. Pretty much about how dangerous and wrong it is to choose a child's gender. She was so sympathetic. Not so sympathetic when I came out as trans. In her um... Defense? She thought it was a personal attack on her, and not me finally understanding what I was after far too long. (I was a late bloomer. Like 29 or so)

Why does the government seem to place so much weight on binary, such as driver licences? Maybe one day the M or F might be removed, much like the height of a person? It's healthier to talk about the wonderful world. I like reading LGBTQI+ posts, witty, smart and much healthier whole picture discussion. Quite satisfying.

Usually it's just someone who watched the show "Bones" and think they sound intellectual instead of ignorant. But as usual telling people they are wrong won't work, so I'm hoping having these ready will help me them realize how laughable the idea is on their own and help them grow. Understanding medical trends is super important which is why everyone should be honest with their healthcare team about their genetic history to aid diagnosis, but it can only help, all biology is a spectrum
