As someone who has pretty much lost faith in everything lately - thank you Sir.

As an atheist: I know there's nobody to take care of us, so we have to take care of each other.

What kind of beer does this man drink because I want to send him a case on me.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you believe in the civic values of the United States, and that those values are above you're religious values, you belong

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I could just kiss this man

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Awww. And he's adorable looking too!! I love everything about this.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I would very much like to shake this guy's hand.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is it: Don't just say you're a good person. Go out and be one.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

his beard and words comfort me

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

A decent person expressing goodwill and representing what's good about this country? Shit, why didn't this dude run for Prez?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You single handedly have given me my faith in humanity back, Thank you so very much xo

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 3

Nice !

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

This has been your daily reminder not to lose faith in humanity. We're still a species worth fighting for.

There's a real American hero.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 2

See, he's the man Mr. Rogers want you to be.

So brave. Decency must prevail.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

There are those that say and those that do. This is one of the latter.

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Beautiful!

9 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 2

I'm not religious, but we need this kind of religion right now.

9 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Good for you for being a decent human being and an adult. You deserve an ice cream. No a double ice cream. Kudos!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

An adult would recognize what these people think of us. Naive.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

When we had the attacks in Paris, a lot of racist dickbags started being very loud towards Muslims but also Jews. A couple of us made 1/.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

signs and wrote letters of incouragement that we dropped in mosques and synagogs. It wasn't much but you can damn well believe it helps. 2/.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It made small news online. "We" being the frenchies on tumblr. Lovely little community we built there.

"There's some good in this world Mister Frodo, and it's worth fightin' for!"

And then they fucked!!!

Rewatched return of the king last night. Sams absolute faithfulness is always inspring

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If you like to read you should really read the books (if you haven't already). Sam's the real MVP.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But technically it would be best if a giant eagle just gave it to us.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I agree with the second part.

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

I really want to believe that.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That's the nice thing about believing. You can start and stop it at any moment.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Pretty highfalutin sentiments from someone with that username! (Which I agree with, btw...)

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I go to the country side a lot. As a Muslim, I never had a bad experience. People in the rural areas are much nicer than ppl in cities.

I'm in AZ and I'm white and people oddly feel comfortable expressing their racist, sexist, xenophobic views to me.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

i'm asian that lives in east texas. I don't experience racism as media or others seem to proclaim.

9 years ago | Likes 48 Dislikes 1

Its almost like the media is sensationalized

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'n my experience when you're in the country the people there who don't like Muslims are scared and stay away and talk shit when you leave

9 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 6

In country of 320 million people, you sure will find people who are racist.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

This guys lives in the DFW metroplex, basically a huge town of 7 million. Love is everywhere, we just don't show it like we should

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You are absolutely right. Love my city. Go Cowboys! Had to get that in, sorry.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Grand Prairie. Cowboys AMERICA YEAH! I Actually live about 5 minutes from where this guy was. Woulda joined him

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't be sorry.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Perhaps because you don't live there. Countryside is often united. What they're united in, depends on region. Some are united in racism.

9 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 9

Some =/= the majority

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

True, there are regions that are racist, but it ain't like how they show that everyone is just super racist.

9 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Modern day racism is more about prejudiced systems in place than outright hate. The overt haters are a severe minority.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I am a white person from rural Ohio. Most people from that area hate anyone different than them and force them out of the area. It's sad.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Where in OH?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Darke County by the Indiana border. The people who live there joke that there are no "darks" in Darke County. It's a sick place. I moved.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I live in Montgomery county, definitely heard that joke as well
