This is the FIRST time my sweet girl has ever sat in someone's lap!
She was left my an asshole neighbor outside when they moved. So, I took her in almost 4 years ago! She's the best kitty! Never scratches, screams, climbs on cabinets nor counters, and is Never mean.
But, she never let me hold her. Today, while watching a movie, she just jumped on me! YAY!!!

That's how we got my cat Olive. Purebred Persian, asses left her. Shelter found her after 3 months on the street. I still miss her.
