There is no such thing as "unskippable ads" over 30 seconds on youtube. Adblock plugins hide the Skip Ad button on the youtube player.

It's free over the summer but YouTube red isn$10/month and not having ads is incredible.

Just get the AdBlock-Plus extension on Google Chrome (works best on that browser). Once installed it does what you think it does. Block ads.

Google flags accounts that block ads and will sometimes play unskippable ads that get past the ad blocker.
