it is not the Defense Spending which is the Problem, the upping of the defense Budget by 50% doesn't even increase the debt massivly. The upping of 50% is there to outrage you. Thats 'only' 500 Billions more. The Problem is the Tax Cuts for the rich under #45 and #46 are 6500 Billions now, and of course additional 100 Billions for ICE. They want you to attack the Defense and ICE Budget and not the TAX CUTS FOR THE RICH.

Biden was close to get the Tax Cuts in with a global Tax for Corporations. One of the reason why everyone ganged on Biden and Kamala. But getting the Rich taxed would give the USA enough money to reduce their debt, have enough money for defense and for Sozial programms and healthcare. Cutting Military down to lets say 300 Billions won't give you enough money, as they are still short by 3000 Billions thanks to the Tax Cutts. But it putts lot of jobs and persons against you. Many people believe that sending money to the federal government to be divided up to states then having the states divide that up to people is a step too many, that benefits like HEAP should be local or state to maximize effectiveness. They also decided there’ll be no more $0 copays even for folks getting extra help because they’re on Medicare and Medicaid/SSD and SSI. So for me that might add up to losing an extra $50 a month which sucks because they keep us at 135% below the poverty line so I really don’t understand why they’d give us money only to make us lose it for a $1.60/$4.90 copay. Trumponomics I guess.
