M1903 is good for long range especially with the 10X scope. Just don't overcompensate for bullet drop cause it can throw you for a loop.

Make sure you get the sniper as the scope is easier to aim with but the down side is the scope glint. You won't get that with the marksman

I'm using the smle infantry, even though it has no scope being able to pull the bolt while scoping is amazing, a decent ammo capacity also

They each have their advantages. SMLE is great for shorter ranges also. Just remember that "Sniper"-versions shows a glare to the enemy.

All snipers have an instantkill sweet spot, SMLE is between 40-80 meters. 1903 is best for long range, russian has higher fire rate, etc

1908 is the best sniper rifle hands down. Gewher is good, but 1908 has given me some incredible games. Scope: 8x for conquest, 6x for TDM.
