This is the wheel release. Have to push it forward to unlock/open the wheel. Very important if you want to reload :)

Excellent. Heavier than most revolvers so recoil is better than a lot of 357s.

And it's a little front heavy which helps offset recoil since there is no slide to absorb any. Heavy=stable.
