This is a short one, but extremely creepy. A woman sets the table, tea for two. But something is not quite right.

There are Monsters

One of the longer ones, but super creepy. A couple is getting ready for a dinner party when abnormal things start happening. The slightly odd tone, along with building tension, makes this an awesome watch. It’s also a really cool and unique take on the whole monster genre. (Yes, it’s very Canadian. Get over it.)

Drew Daywalt is one of my favourites when it comes to short horror. This is a twisted take on a classic scare, the monster hiding under the bed.

Cutting Moments

This is the longest of the bunch, but I had to add it because it is so disturbing. Cutting moments is a slow-burner, and a horrifying take on dysfunctional suburbia. WARNING, this short is extremely graphic. Don’t watch it if you’re not into gore. Like, a lot of it.

The Cat With Hands

The special effects and eerie song in this short are both very effective for creating atmosphere. Involving a strange creature found in the woods, this story will stay with you for a while after it’s finished.

An elderly man decides to play a classic parlour game with a deadly twist. This film is so well done that it is at once creepy and beautiful.
