Below are my 5 somewhat under the radar action films id recommend. I'm sure you guys have seen some of them. I never did the lists for points, but instead for the comments and feedback. I love movies and enjoyed immensely discussing movies with everyone. I hope you enjoyed my lists. Thanks Imgur.
Death Sentence 2007
A man watches a gang kill his son, and decided to get revenge, whatever the cost. Hard flick, and you wont even recognize some of the actors. Really good.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0804461/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Shooter 2007
A retired sniper is called in for a mission that goes wrong when someone is killed and he is blamed. Its plot is incredibly weak, but that doesn't stop this film from being so good. Top notch action, a fun ride.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0822854/?ref_=nv_sr_1
Ninja Assassin 2009
Don't worry, its an American film. And boy is it epic blood and action. A clan of ninjas hunt down one of their own as he tries to expose them. Epic battle scenes, an awesome movie.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1186367/?ref_=nv_sr_1
The 13th Warrior 1999
Yes Antonio Banderas plays an Arab. Forget that, its the story of Beowulf in a different angle and its well done. I enjoyed it immensely.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120657/?ref_=nv_sr_1
John Wick 2014
It shocks me how many people still haven't seen John Wick. The best action movie with gun battles in forever, it tells the story of a man who wants revenge against the Russian mob boss who's idiot son did a major personal grievance against him. Truly an awesome film you can see over and over.

Thank god it's over.

Ninja assassin is my favorite movie to watch very drunk. It is so bad at times but hey it has some Koreans in mainstream hollywood so f yeah
Fuzzynubz
Weird personal 13th warrior fact. I picked up Eaters of the Dead at a 2nd hand book shop and finished it the day 13w came out. had zero idea
Imthedudeplayinthedudedisguisedasanotherdude
I appreciate it @op! Awesome lists. I think I favorited most of them and have watched a few. Just another movie lover like yourself!

YES Ninja Assassin! If Ninja Gaiden was made into a movie, this would be it. Check out On Bak if you enjoy it!

I'm done, but here's more movies you might like but not have seen.
BeastAssMilk
These things need to be tagged along with shit from LindaDee so we can just tune this stuff out
dirtcreature
John wick was great! Until the end fight. So lame.
tzxAzrael
lists like these make me feel that people have stopped understanding what phrases like "under the radar" and "you might not have seen" mean.
RawrestOfBears
The 13th Warrior is one of my top 5 movies of all time!
Laika0050
We'll miss you :'(
AtomicDJ
Just introduced my 13 year old son to John Wick last night. He loved it.

If I could recommend one myself it's no home run but it's entertaining "voices" with Ryan Reynolds...
MechaNinja
#4 has Sho Kosugi in a villain role, and he gets to stomp around a bit. I'm not a fan of Rain, but he isn't awful as a ninja.
Candyclysm
Omg. I thought you were talking about Rainn Wilson. That had me so excited for this movie.
MechaNinja
Sorry : / It's Rain the Korean pop star.
thehungrywolf
The 13th Warrior has one of the greatest scenes in the history of cinema IMO: "I LISTENED!!"
Tonberryc
13th warrior is one of those action films that found the perfect balance between humor, action, and clever one-liners.
Getsoft4u
In your land one God may be enough, but here we have need of many. I will pray to all of them for you. Do not be offended! -it was 1999...
Shimobe
But it's absolutely not the story of Beowulf. It's a Grisham novel, "Eaters of the Dead."
GalaxyRangerZero
Haha. You mean Crichton!!!!
Guerrin3
It is made of honey!!!
Getsoft4u
can you draw sounds?

I'm happy I am not alone in my reaction
MechaNinja
I figured you'd have posted it, but didn't want to wait the 8 hours for you to get out of bed.
MortyMcFly
Lol. Good call. That exactly where I was.
Eveythingistaken
Perfect reaction.

John Wick restored my faith in Hollywood's ability to make a finely sculpted action movie - no pretense, no fat. Essential viewing.
hunnybunches
Action @ its best... but action has a reputation for having... bad writers
PoopyMeowMeow
I wasn't really that impressed with john wick as it was supposed to be a payday 2 movie. 0 payday 2 in that movie, though I liked the action
Yoomazir
Can't wait for the sequel.
avanishprajapati
Mark walhberg shooter
gohomebaby
The last one has a 15 minute fight with two people in that glass room like we know John wins get to the damn point
solispegasus
What is butone? Sounds like an expensive chocolate from Italy.
Polaristars
I agree with you. My only gripe with that movie IMHO is its somewhat predictable revenge plot.
iambutone
That's actually why I was so pleasantly surprised. Despite the predictable plot it was still executed well enough to feel like a fresh spin.
PoopyMeowMeow
Totally, storyline is a bit cliché. Like 80% of it is an overused action movie plot
Polaristars
But at least it's actually enjoyable to watch.
DangerSmoog
Because of this list and this comment I went and watched it. I haven't been so pumped for an action movie in a long time, very well done.
iambutone
Excellent! So glad you enjoyed it!
MarkyBoyAce
And a fantastic soundtrack
iambutone
Had this song from the scene at the Red Circle stuck in my head for a while: https://youtu.be/1CurN2Fg-2E

It's a beauty
ThisIsJustMySecondNSFWAccountMoveAlongOrPMmeIDontCare
I think the accuracy of the shooting is what really made everyone love it. Great movie all around though.
DiamondLeaguePlayer
You mean his accuracy with a gun right? BOOM HEADSHOT
DiamondLeaguePlayer
I'm kidding, I know you meant to compliment how concise the cinematography was, etc
Krakencrotch
Also the lack of Hollywood infinimags
TheBobfather
And fantastic handling of firearms and combat techniques
NeetoMagneto
Plus he gets another dog in the end, setting up the sequel, John Wick: Dogwalker
TheBobfather
Mmmm indeed!

TheBobfather
Oh I've watched it a dozen times. Such a great run!
TinkerAndMod
They actually show him having to reload!
Shepsus
I firmly believe that John Wick realizes he is in a movie, which is why he does all of the smart things (like shooting a knee) but has 1/2
Shepsus
2/2 downside with having to reload. He eventually realizes he is the main character and just goes apeshit.
davidbowieeyes
Ha!
