You'd think that the iPhone build quality would have improved by now, but nope. No money in making a product that lasts.

That first one... I remember a time when we made fun of people with cellphones for being rich.

#1 get Otterbox

8 years ago | Likes 84 Dislikes 4

I have one, and somehow my camera shattered

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've sold phones for years. A lip around your glass helps out more than anything. Otters just have a pretty thick lip.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

Yeah... otterboxes just makes it impossible to get the phone out of your pocket.

I've got a lifeproof. Dropped it from the 3rd floor, bounced down the scaffolding, landed on the concrete. Not a scratch.

I prefer to not drop my phone, but that's good too

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 11

well, i bought a thin phone because it was thin, i'm not about to double it's thickness. also had it for a year now and not a crack in site.

had to use site since the previous comment is 140 chars exactly.

Honestly depends on the phone....my LG G4 only has a tempered glass screen protector; it can hit concrete and be fine. The only visible (1l

Mark is a small ding near the top of the screen protector (so I could swap it out, but it's not enough to warrant that) from falling off (2)

A table onto an upturned plug.....don't underestimate tempered glass! (3)

my LG seems to be indestructable, as well. too bad it's a POS in every other respect, like the audio jack that got worn out after 6 months.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just wait for the bootloop though. That's what killed mine

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It hit me, I called LG, they sent me a new one, has been perfectly fine for coming up on 2 years since

I've got a Pelican. I drop my phone 10 times a day, on concrete, wood, everything. Not even a tiny crack. Can't recommend them enough.

They make phone cases now?!?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Now? Did they make other things? I only know the brand because of my phone case. And maybe video game controllers? Not sure about that...

Nice. I didn't know that. Thank you.

How does one drop a phone 10 times a day? I don't even use mine 10 times a day. And I haven't dropped it yet...

Calls, messages, work, etc.

I've got butterfingers and an internet addiction. Plus teeny, tiny lady pockets that don't really hold these massive smart phones.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Buy a bricky! Apparently they will start making them again :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably because you're a hamster who can't even pick up a phone

That's... That's a good point, actually...
