MRW Deadpool has this line in Donald Glover’s Deadpool screenplay when he shoots a bad guy between the eyes: “Take notes teachers of America. Someday you'll have to make a high pressure shot like that.”

Deadpool should make you wince, laugh and yell "noooo dude that is so wrong!" So I'd leave it in. It's not Mary Poppins.

I have a feeling if/when Deadpool 3 happens that line will be in there

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Sadly it was cancelled before it even started :(

8 years ago | Likes 470 Dislikes 7

wtf deadpool 2 is already canceled?!?!

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 24

No it was going to be an animated series for Marvel TV

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

No, what everybody else said

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

No, this was an animated series that was going to air

8 years ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 0

No

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No, the show

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Honestly, at this point it feels disingenuous, like it was 'cancelled' and 'leaked' to generate hype. Cue a change of heart in 3... 2...

that is how the first movie got made, pretty much

Each year 5% of teachers get attacked by students. Trained, armed teachers could protect themselves and their students.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 54

So you're saying those 5% could knock that teacher out and take their gun, ya fuckin redneck?

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 1

5%? That's it? I'm pretty sure I have a higher chance of getting hit by a truck when I leave the house.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Pretty sure that actual protection would be way less time consuming and safer

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Dude, even though I so far support the idea of arming teachers, that comment is either insane or poorly typed out.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You're telling a teacher, who likely chose this profession on the ideal of shaping the future, to kill a child, their figurative clay.

8 years ago | Likes 38 Dislikes 2

I've talked to a dozen teachers about the proposal of arming teachers. Every single one of them has emphatically said it's a terrible idea.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

Ooh...that's a good sample size!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 3

No, just no. I don't trust myself to not shoot the asshole student who back talks.

8 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 4

Then I really hope you don't own a weapon if that's your true personality.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 35

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Yes. That is exactly what he just said. He cannot be trusted with a weapon, and he is a teacher. I don't know how to make this clearer.

I'll make my own deadpool, with blackjack! and hookers!

8 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 1

Jack Black and hookers is how I read that... Sounds more interesting.

And chimmychangas

I thought it was awesome. Not great, but awesome none the less. Anything Childish does is good with me.

Are the eyebrows CGI, or prosthetics glued to Ryan?

8 years ago | Likes 54 Dislikes 1

Jesus Christ dude, you can't just ask questions like that!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Ryan is Deadpool. He normally wears a human mask over his normal form

8 years ago | Likes 49 Dislikes 0

They used cgi and mapped Ryan Reynolds face when delivering the lines. There's some neat special features on the Blu Ray about it

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

For scenes where Ryan had to be expressive the black part of the mask was gone and they CG-ed it back in following his expressions.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

CGI. They hoped that Reynold's expression would be able to shine through the mask but it was just too rigid IIRC

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Maybe a bit of both? Prosthetics and then some CGI to make it look smooth

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Basically every scene had Ryan do takes with the mask, without the mask, and with the motion-capture rig to get it put together right.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm not sure how that will go over, but hilarioius

8 years ago | Likes 746 Dislikes 9

I dunno..seems too politically charged/trying to make a point.

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 7

Great joke, but it was a little too on the nose.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It seems more like a joke about current events than some sort of political message to me

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

But funny and worryingly true

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Mass shootings have been on the decline for 2 decades. They just get more news coverage

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Fx already scraped it

8 years ago | Likes 161 Dislikes 0

Wasn't Fx, it was Marvel (reading Donald Glover's commentary on the situation it was because of too much political commentary like this).

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Did you mean scrapped? Or did you mean scraped, as in slang for abortion? I’m gonna assume you meant scraped, because that is solid wordplay

8 years ago | Likes 56 Dislikes 14

Yeah, but that's pure deadpool tho. Stupid FX!

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Awwwwwww.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Donald and his brother pulled out of the show and it's looking like we won't get the animated series

8 years ago | Likes 185 Dislikes 8

that's just fake news. MARVEL said hell no, they freaked out when they saw what Donald wanted to do with the deadpool character

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a 2nd chance after that movie money rolls in. Might not be with the Glovers though unfortunately.

8 years ago | Likes 34 Dislikes 2

Saying they "pulled out" is oversimplifying. They had creative differences, which probably meant FX didn't want to go as far as they did.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 3

no, that's not accurate. FX was down to do it. MARVEL said no, as Donald wanted to do some unorthodox stuff with the deadpool character.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Donald wanted to do the show. He didn’t pull out FX chickened out

8 years ago | Likes 109 Dislikes 2

I understand why FX would. Maybe Adult Swim will pick it up, they are no stranger to edgy animated series'.

8 years ago | Likes 46 Dislikes 0

See this is why FX can be stupid it's deadpool you can't make a good deadpool and make it PG

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Don't forget that FX started IASIP, which had a pilot entitled "The Gang Gets Racist."

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Could it be on anything other than FX? Fox are the ones who own the rights to Deadpool, or is it only the movie rights they own?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Let’s not give adult swim nice things they just want to ruin everything.

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 2

Adult Swim has already cornered the market with Rick and Morty and other shows in the past. Glover just needs creative freedom.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'd rather watch adult swim if my other choices were Hulu, and netflix since everything actually worth watching on those two are on amazon

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Practically every adult swim show is on Hulu

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Don Glover is a semi talented sham of a person

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 53

Why do you feel this way? I’m honestly just curious.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Tell that to his multiple golden globes for writing on 30 Rock.

8 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

I'm pretty sure you're just saying that because you think that he didn't want to do it. He did want to but FX was scared by the comedy

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

8 years ago | Likes 37 Dislikes 2

His acting and music is sub par. His Natural talent needs hard work to live up the hype..

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 15

Ahhh I get it. It’s your opinion that is wrong

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

Yeah. Generic black criminal was the best choice in Spiderman - homecoming....
