Here it is! Found it in the attic.

Banana for scale. You would not believe the look my mum gave me when I said: "I gotta show this online, can I have a banana?"

Anywho, let's ring out what's inside!

Oh. Oh! MINERALS!

Huh. there's a note inside too. It's from a guy who's an element hunter, and a geologist, and they said this was an incomplete collection, "a starter pack of sorts, why don't you try collecting them all". Neato. I have some work to do. I WON'T LET YOU DOWN, MYSTERY MAN!

Here's three matchstick heads. They're made of Phosphorus

A large copper nugget. Cool!

And a piece of calcium in a glass block! (I assume it's glass)

The bag said it was Bismuth. Before I broke the bag, that is.

And zinc too! All elements on the periodic table too!

Silicon metal! That's not very common.

And 3 sulphur chunks. Ignore my ugly finger.

Magnesium wire. I won't set it on fire then.

Aluminium foil for aluminium. Works.

Lots of carbon. All contained. Good.

And... Uranium?

Ah. A light? Maybe for the uranium?

Yes it is! Uranium glass flows in UV light, and this is a UV light! Cool!

Yup. Uranium glass. Awesome.

And then we get to this box.

Lots of stones and minerals. I see some Garnet, Amethyst, Obsidian, heamotite...

4 fossils! Devils toenail, some plant, a shark tooth, and an annomite shell too!

Is this Lapiz Lazuli? Only one way to find out... bust out the UV light again!

Yes it is! That goldfish flaw shows that it is lapiz. Awesomeness.

Well that's all that was in the box. Any questions about it, send 'em my way!

THEYRE MINERALS MARIE!!!!

Isn't uranium radioactive? And extremely hard to come by? Also- THEY'RE MINERALS, MARIE!

The "some plant" fossil is actually not a plant at all, but a Orthoceras, a kind of squid with a shell like ammonites but straight.

The "calcium" is probably calcite or another calcium based crystal. Pure calcium looks like a silvery metal

I found two boxes: one full of colorful rocks, and another filled with a ton of old baseball cards (I can post pics of them if interested)

So a rock expert just happens to find an incomplete collection? I think your just showing off your own collection! OP is a phony!

But... Can I smoke them?

Nothing like some sweet geology on a Friday night.

I can't get your ugly finger out of my mind. It is burned in my memory like Selma Hayek in Desperado.

"Found a metal box"... You sure do seem to know A LOT about everything in the super clean metal box for just "finding" it.
