We'd be so fucked if we were aquatic life forms

Is it weird that the first thing I thought of was those shampoo commercials, and then pictured a shark shaking around with shiny hair?

Went to see one they had at the monterey bay aquarium a while back. I was "only" about 5 or 6 feet long. Still looked scary AF

I WANT TO FIND THE PERSONS THAT TOOK THIS VIDEO!!! I (and a caretaker at the local aquarium) have a LOT of questions.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m in a 3rd floor walkup right now and this made me so uncomfortable that I just put both feet on the couch.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a water puppy :D

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

Oh hi Mark

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

That’s probably what you see right before loosing consciousness

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The scream under water reminds me of when people try to play it cool when they nail the trick shot when filming. He got so much hang time!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Quick question, maybe even a dumb one. Do fish enjoy the taste of birds as much as the opposite?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Those birds are there to feed on dead fish. That shark is one of them.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

High 5 human fren!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Human friend killed this animal. It is dead.

Is this shark dead? If so, how do you know? Dead or alive, I'm scared (I live near the beach near Oak Island, NC. Can you say bull shark?)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can. Look at the infiltration of air into to "nostril" cavity. Sharks have a muscle to prevent that. Along with the bubbles from...1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

2/2 the eyes.. we all know sharks roll their eyes back when they "strike" something. That is to prevent infiltration of FOD. Poor shark.

Every downvote at me is an upvote for animal cruelty.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

1. You were entirely too close to that shark. 2. Why is the shark leaping out of the water? 3. Where is the nearest Path of Nope?

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

That shark is deceased. That shark was propelled out of the water by the hand of man. Nope is that miles of monofiliment we discard.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Downvote me all you want. Those animals need our help. Please do not disrespect them. It is not good for you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Ia this true?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's called a "breach attack" and it's used predominantly to target seals from below at high speed

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Shark is too small for seal.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Now WAY this footage is real. It is sad.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Keep downvoting... tell us all how much you like animal abuse.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

How do even propel themselves that high?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I do believe this is staged with added forced perspective. That shark is deceased.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Are you under the immpression that sharks dont breach, or you remember it from somewhere else?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

This shark is dead. There are too many signs that point to that conclusion. Too many for 140 characters.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

This shark has no reason to breach.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

They are literal torpedoes made of muscle. 80% of sharks' body weight is in the muscles that propel their tails.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Question is "why" would it propel itself like that. Even less likely if a human is around. That carcass is manipulated by the hand of man.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

to get seals, seals are too fast for them to chase down so they ambush them from underneath at top speed, usually propelling the shark 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

its body length out of the water

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If that little guy is 3 feet long, I would be SHOCKED! It feeds on fish and garbage. Looks like a small tiger shark being abused.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

This size animal will not hunt seal.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Sharks are awesome.

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 2

Way nicer when alive! Why didn't it protect its eyes when attacking those birds? It is a desecrated animal!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Indeed they are.... and they terrify me

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Glad to see that common sense is alive.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This is abuse of an animal.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

They can be terrifying, and I refuse swim with one, but I admire them.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Not all sharks can eat you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

No, I am aware of that, but doesn't change how scary to be in same water as them. lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes... it doea.
