Neat, but y u no gif?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Because it's a long exposure, not a time-lapse video.

I need to charge my romba

What kind of telescope is that?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Instructions unclear. Summoned a demon.

What breed of Roombas does the spiral?

9 years ago | Likes 196 Dislikes 0

the ones that can't handle their booze

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it's the "spot" cleaning mode. Mine do something like that in this mode.

THE KAMINA BREED

Nooo even the older models do that when you first put them down. They spiral out to find a wall. Spot cleaning is just a slow circle.

#9 Fifth Element anyone?

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

YOU'RE GODDAMN RIGHT

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was thinking about getting a Roomba, but they miss a fuckton of carpet!

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Get a Neato botvac

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

A Neato's pattern, by comparison:

How did you get a Roomba to clean the walls in #6??? You're sitting on GOLD

DJ ROOMBA IS IN THE BUILDING YALL

9 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

This is the first thing I though of!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is it me or are the paths that are taken inefficient?

9 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

It's seems so. I have the 980 which is supposed limit the randomness with the onboard camera. I'm interested in seeing a long exposure of it

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Roombas aren't smart at all. Most have a bumper plate that causes it to rotate when triggered. No special algorithm or nothing.

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Looks like it gave up on this floor and just decided to chase its own tail.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Super inefficient. I had one and it looked like a blind man vacuumed. Switched to a Neato and it does a way better job.

9 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

Yeah. Can do multiple rooms, recharge itself and go back to where it left off, no random patterns, no BS, and good price.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

*looks up price* nope

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Much better than what you get for the same price with roomba

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

I bought a Neato botvac instead because of this. It moves in a side to side way that makes much more sense. Cheaper and does a better job.

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

My neato is retarded piece of crap.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Laser might be dirty. Old model maybe? Or just broken. Mine was the best 400 bucks I've ever spent.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Its been stupid from the start (would get stuck between chair legs), then it stopped working (just leaves charger and rotates). Alzheimer?

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, chairs are difficult sometimes for mine as well. But it sounds like maybe a sensor broke in yours. I'd contact Neato.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That would only work if your room doesn't have many obstacles though... Roomba's method makes sure to clean edges...

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

Neatos do pretty well with obstacles :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It goes around objects and keeps the correct path.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

/a/FmYaV A Neato made the arrow pattern in that album, which looks much more efficient :)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

huh, that's pretty interesting.
