Is this in Chicago? Because that’s the only way you’re gonna get it for 150 miles around. It’s called a party cut

That pizza looks so good

In Japan, there are two ways to cut okonomiyaki: the common radial cut and this cut, which is mainly used in the Kansai region.

Didn't know pizza shops served such exceptional cake

Thin crust, thicc ... pepperoni

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

She cut it like a typical thin crust pizza. What's the point?....oh, it's not actually about pizza.

Never was.

Pizza?

You're literally basing a person's worth on how many imaginary internet points they have? That's just. Wow.

And I just looked at your post history and, LOL. Wow. You stated you're "getting up there" in terms of age. Ya, maybe you're starting to suffer the same derangement as the US president is. Or, maybe you should stop posting when you're uhhmn...

I only see cake.

2 months ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 4

haha, same 1st thought...

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Not for nothing but whatever happened to the white little pizza table they used to put in the middle to keep the box from crushing the glorious food inside?

2 months ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

That box looked corrugated, so not needed. You only need that on the thick wax paper boxes.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Only works with radial cuts obviously

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That pizza shop turned up on my algorithm (don't judge me). Every, single, day they record a gratuitous video of this girl's ass in tights and never speak on it.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

I think she's in on it. Wondering why she propped her leg up like that under the table towards the end otherwise

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

She's 100% in on it. She makes a lot of unnecessary poses and pauses. The comment threads on every post look exactly like this thread.

I get why they do it. It's insane engagement for a small business.

But dudes are going to turn up at that pizza shop looking for her, and that makes me uneasy. If she's only around for the cake videos, I guess you just have a clientele with regular creeps in it. I definitely hope she's not 1 of the usual 2 employees in a given pizza shop.

2 months ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Yeah, bet she has to deal with some sketchy shit on a regular basis. Hope she's either well compensated or has a plan to open her own place. If she's gonna have that kind of exposure she should get the maximum benefit out of it. Hope she's staying safe

A square cut is common on thin crusts, especially what I’ve dubbed “cracker crust”

2 months ago | Likes 33 Dislikes 1

Sometimes also called St Louis style crust!

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I thought at Louis was specifically different cause it's unleavened dough and uses provel cheese. Where tavern pizza is just regular dough rolled real thin (like most thin crust pizza) with any toppings and cut into square. (not like most thin crust pizza)

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dear god no, St Louis style is it's own thing, it's no synonymous with thin crust.

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Who wouldn't want a pizza that?

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yoink

2 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 4

Large pizzas are cut like that here. Presumably because pie slices become impractical

2 months ago | Likes 148 Dislikes 5

Some places do it with larger thin crusted pizzas

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

You fold them and it all works out

2 months ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

You can fold or roll up an entire pizza if need be.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's a thin crust pizza I eat crispy it will not fold

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No, a new York slice is huge and still easy to eat and share. I've only ever seen thin crust pizza or frozen pub pizzas cut like this. The same stuff that is sold in MN. In fact, I wouldnt be surprised if that's where it originated as that's where the frozen pizza was invented.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's a thin crust pizza if you cut them into wedges it would survive when you pick them up

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That sounds like quitter talk.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, but she cut it 4x one direction and 5x in the other. Fuck! There's no kind of ass that would justify that kind of BS.

2 months ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 7

Surely you're joking

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'm serious, and don't call me Shirley!

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'd rather have a longer rectangular slice than a square. Less pizza and sauce getting the sides of my mouth

2 months ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

Well, considering the way pizza is generally shaped, you can have max a few pieces like that.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

And if you don't cut at all it you only get to have one piece :(

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Its just how chocago pizza places do it. Doesn't matter how big the pizza. I hate it

2 months ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 5

It's the typical way to cut a thin crust. You can ask for 8 slices you know, you don't have to get tavern cut

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That requires me to remember to ask. Not something I'm usually capable of.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I miss it. I miss Chicago pizza too. Or is it chocago?

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Okay but this is a crispy thin crust and wedges don't survive being picked up

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is it normal to cut take-away pizza ? Doesn't it end up all in a mess if you shake the box even just a little ?!? Sorry for my ignorance but I make my own.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

I see I've been downvoted, so I can only assume people can't even cut their own pizza and take the piss if you make them notice. Right.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

You've never had a pizza from a delivery place that's what it sounds like to me

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah, not that I can remember. I have a wood stove (for heating), and I discovered I can slide homemade pizzas halfway up it and it works great.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, all takeaway pizza is cut.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Normal for Chicago.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

At least here it's usually sort-of cut, i.e. not fully cut but enough that if you grab a piece and lift it'll come away without tearing up the entire pizza

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

it's pub style cut and it allows for greater sharing.

2 months ago | Likes 90 Dislikes 2

Maybe but in this case it's because it's a thin crust pizza and the pieces went survive if you pick them up in a wedge cut just breaking half and drop toppings everywhere real nightmare

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Sharing? Im sorry whats that?

2 months ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

It's an odd concept to me too

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yes, who shares a single serving pizza like that?

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I share it with lunch and dinner

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It's something that nonAmericans are familiar with

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Something unknown to the US president - and to quite a few Americans.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Man...

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yeah the people who get those little basically all crust pieces are super grateful for the sharing

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

I like the pieces with plenty of crust, personally.

2 months ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Often yes. Different people like different things

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If you notice there really isn't a crust because it's a thin crust pizza and that's why it's cut that way because it wouldn't survive a wedge cut when you pick them up

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

NY pizza is famously both thin crust, cut into pies, and famously delicious.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

New York style has a crust. It may not be as pronounced as papa John's or Dominos, but its there.

Still huge slices

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

But this is a crisp crust almost like a cracker

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am sorry but having no crust to grip it on is pretty fucking impractical. I really hate this style of cut personally. Not telling anyone else what to do but pizza is messy enough without having to grab it by the saucy bits to pick it up or getting pieces that are mostly crust. Just divide it into 12 or 16 instead. Getting 16 slices is only 8 cuts. Only one more cut than she did. (Also having thrown and cut 20+" pizzas its easier to cut larger pies into slices)

2 months ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 16

Meh. When I eat pizza, I expect it to be messy, so I have extra napkins or paper towels on hand before I start. Strips like these are easier to dip, too, so I prefer it that way, personally. I can understand your line of reasoning, though.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Have you ever seen people eat these things called chicken wings?

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I am not a big fan of wings either... I WILL get messy for some good ass ribs tho...

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

by the saucy bits? have you never held a cd before?

2 months ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

When you drive a blade down through something it drags everything on top down with it. And liquids don't have a great track record of staying on flat surfaces.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

I can tell that you did not grow up going to Chuck E. Cheeses.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

You are CORRECT! My birthdays and such were at Cici's Pizza.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Chuck E Cheese's used to make pizza like a birthday cake and cut it into like 30 pieces. It's for kids ya know.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's the sort of pizza I grew up with (home-made) as well. Thick crust, thick layer of topping, and made in a rectangular pan and cut similarly to the video here.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thin, especially cracker crusts, tend to not be as saucy anyway so it’s not an issue

2 months ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 1

Tell that to the New Yorker who trained me to make thin crust. And that does nothing about the oil and fat from the toppings and cheese. Still not fun for me.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Understandable. West coast pizza is a whole nother breed from east coast pizza. Let alone bringing other crust styles into the equation. NY, Detroit, pan, thin, classic, deep dish, etc. But brands like California Pizza Kitchen, dominoes, etc all have a thin crust that’s like eating a saltine cracker. If you tried to cut wedges, the crust would look like you ran over a box of cheezits in your car. Heck, they literally make a cheezit brand frozen pizza now

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Thin crusts are an abomination, but not as much as Chicago's eldritch horror of a "pizza".

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

I will take Detroit and their unset gluten proteins before I will take Chicago. Side note: my grandma used to make this thing she called “salmon pizza” as an appetizer at Christmas. It took me years to realize it was basically a deconstructed lox bagel made using flatbread

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

You go to hell sir and you die there all pizzas are beautiful and have their places

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My New York Italian blood will not let me consider Chicago deep dish as "pizza". It's just a lasagna.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You gave such. Wildly impractical and weird solution to a non existent problem.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Ah yes. Burnt and greasy hands are nonexistent and its wildly impractical to simply cut the slices once more. A normal cut for a pizza is 8 slices. All you have to do is repeat the same cuts for that but in the middle of the other cuts. Its how we served the largest size of pizza cause an 8th of a 26" pizza is MASSIVE. Its the size of almost two 7" personal pizzas. So we cut it into 16 instead. Still fuckoff huge but at least manageable.

2 months ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Nobody besides you wants to struggle to eat a 2 inch wide slice thats a foot long. Its entire impractical. As someone who eats only "party squares" you are crying about a non existent problem. Your hands dont get covered in sauce or grease

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Since you cannot math. A 26" Pizza has a circumference of about 81.6 inches. That means that with 16 slices the damn this is over 5" wide. And "only me" its New York style pizza. We served this regularly. It was crispy crust and that width made it easy to hold like a taco. Why are you arguing this? I fucking made these for a living for a long time.
