Here in BC Canada, gas is @ $1.329/litre wich equals around $6.00/gallon. It's even worse in Europe though.

At least you get to live in BC Canada

I stayed one night in Tulsa driving across country. There was a cockroach in the hotel bed. I went to a different hotel.

Not at all. There’s nothing here. No major league teams, no national treasures. Cost of living and family is the only reason to be here.

Other than cost of living, yeah it sucks. Although, the weather has been getting better with climate change.

I worked at Quik Trip when I was 16-17.

It’s a great company, at least from a customer perspective.

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, still one of my favorite gas stations to go to as a customer. Too bad they don't have any in California where I've moved to.

A quick internet search revealed you have the 3rd worst public schools in the country and the highest obesity rate for kids, 6th for adults.

We also have one of the highest crime rates. We love our city :)

Couldn’t care less about crime rate, I’m a New Yorker. It’s fat dumb people that irk me.

Plenty of those too! I mostly attribute that to how utterly terrible our public transit is. We all drive everywhere.

$2.989/gal in Fairbanks, Alaska

6 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Wow that's actually surprising! Is refining actually done there?

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No. Probably in Anchorage, or shipped as crude

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Also, technically it is Govt.'s before it's Ak's. Dividend came in few days ago

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That’s awesome. Andrew Yang would be proud :)
