Being stupid not only hurts sometimes, it is also often expensive.

That's rule number one. Even if you're going to be stupid, do it where you can do the least amount of damage.

What was the big idea here... ?

Everyone that has seen "In China They Eat Dogs" (1999) knows why the blast was directed downwards.

That's a $300 mistake.

I think it's a lot more than that these days.

Depends on the stove. I'm aware that mine costs exactly $325.49 after the wife's picking up a cast iron without an oven mit incident.

She got away with relatively minor burns, it was impressive!

When the fuck did people stop remembering to "Don't try this at home"?

4 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Around the time that TikTok made it popular and/or profitable enough to ignore.

Though, thinking back, "Jackass" deserves a good amount of credit.

Think about how stupid the "average" person is and then realize about 50% of people are worse than that

My benchmark for stupid had a customer enter "CAseSEnTive" as her password. Like we were telling her her password.

I am sure he doesn’t pay the rent or own the house. Trashing the house or furniture is very inconsiderate. That’s aside from the danger to himself.

One time I thought it would be a good idea to put a piece of dry ice into a PET bottle half full of water and cap it. I tossed it into the back yard and the explosion was so loud the cops showed up trying to figure out where it came from while I hid inside.

Sometimes more!

I always hate this statement. But I was in the 99th percentile and an optimist growing up. So if only half the people would be dumber than me, then society was doing GREAT!!! Then I got older, wiser, more sad, and pessimistic.

Being in the 99th percentile and not understanding percentiles lol.

That's not what I wrote. I didn't write that I knew I was in the 99th, I wrote that I was. Once I grew older and learned more about my circumstance, the math became more apparent, and the saying became something stupid.

I see, it's certainly not clear from the wording. But yeah, I get the sentiment for sure.
