Soy Sauce?

I still think batman is in the wrong here. If the Joker existed in real life, he would've been killed by someone who had the chance

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I really love Year 1 and 2 of the Injustice series.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

there's a missing panel half through and that really annoys me

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Love this comic but its missing a few pages..

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Anyone know where I can read comics online?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That last line from Alfred. Damn

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm relevant! Finally!

10 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

Have all my upvote.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I don't get this whole batman vs superman argument. Superman can travel backwards in time for goodness sake.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Seems to be missing panels.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It is missing one of the best panels of the series.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The best part is when Alfred kicks Superman so hard his shoe explodes.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Hmmm... pills that give you power. There was a Hanna-Barberra cartoon in the 60's where the hero too "power pills" for his super powers. 1>

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It ran one season because American kids were emptying mom's stash.

Who is Ollie?

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Oliver "Ollie" Queen is the Green Arrow.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Oliver Queen, aka the Green Arrow.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

aka a greasy stain on the ice.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

No kidding. Comic writers seem to have a thing for Supes hating on Arrow. Supes took Arrow's arm in Dark Knight Returns. /shrug

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Is batman's only.weakness a knee to the back? Seems like a reoccurring thing

10 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

well that and mentioning his parents

10 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

"I was a boy! Now I'm a bat!"

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He forgot one of the best sceens parts of this when superman is pushing on batman's back to try and make him talk.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

It's really bothering me that it was missing, one of an awesome turning points in this injustice series

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I was going to say the same thing. There are panels missing here.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You know, people hate Supes for what he becomes in this comic... but if you've actually read it, his loss is incredibly tragic

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I hated Supes before reading Injustice, but yeah, more after.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

If you've read it, then can we take a moment to appreciate that Aquaman is a real douche too?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

And Wonder Woman is a real manipulative bitch?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I know Alfred is supposed to be secretly badass, but how did he do that? Is this from the Injustice comic with the super pills?

10 years ago | Likes 100 Dislikes 2

Exactly from the super pills

Brokeback Batman

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

After reading Injustice I wanna kick Superman's ass, he's total jerk

10 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

In that universe yes. That's how they always do it- they always throw out his character for the sake of conflict and it's really tiresome.

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

His character is there, he gradually becomes this. It's more Batman forces him to go further and further each time.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Yep. "Hey, let's make him go completely irrational and turn him into a nazi! Yeah!"

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

(2 Now whether or not he'd kill more people and go dictator mode? That's another story all together.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That attitude is entirely what "What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way?" was refuting- it's just not how Supes plays

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's also always just to circlejerk over Batman too- every other character has to job for him.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Batman is the Mary Sue of DC comics.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You'd have a very hard time convincing readers of that- his omnipotent plot armor is forgiven as just being that badass

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't know, I feel like Clark has always been one shitty day away from lasering someone's face to bits. (1

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Except countless series have consistently demonstrated he's not that petty and out of control- that shit is what Superboy Prime was about.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

The thing about this that bothers me the most is that people give a no contest to Goku, but eat up Alfred beating up Clark with a pill.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

one is a battle of who is stronger, this is that Alfred IS as strong as superman, at his peak. Superman at this part is tired and weaker 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

and when Alfred took the pill, he is as strong as superman at full strength, allowing him to kick superman's ass

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I hear you, believe me. But the idea that this is feasible to people, but Goku being strong enough to fight Superman isn't, is my issue.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Like, superhero viagra is cool, but someone capable of standing against him in competition is just impossible. And that bugs me.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Trust me, i understand, i am a BIG dragonball fun, but the problem is that DC made him too powerful, have you seen the things he can do? 1/?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He can life an book of infinite pages?? hear something millions of miles away, the get there in a few minutes, there was some that 2/?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So how did Alfred hurt superman?

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In the comic, Superman developed pills that could give people his strength. Bruce was stalling him to analyze the pills. Alfred used one.

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

By shaming him

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Bruce is like a son to Alfred. Also, there are extenuating circumstances regarding Damian and Dick that come into play

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

if you haven't read, and might be inclined to... I don't want to spoil a fun read

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

How is Alfred able to inflict damage

10 years ago | Likes 563 Dislikes 6

Spiral power

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Someone told me the other day that batman managed to create a way to give temporary kryptonian strength to combat superman. Alfred used it.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Superman created it (to make more allies), Batman stole it, Alfred used it.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

By kicking so hard his shoe explodes. I don't really care how or why. His fucking shoe explodes!

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

That's a great detail. He wasn't wearing super-clothing, so that makes perfect sense.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Batman was synthetizhing a super-soldier pill based off a luthor invention. As it completed, alfred ate it and gained temporary power up.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Alfred is the Shiz-nit

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He took a steroid pill that made him as strong as Superman, fun fact that pill was made by Lex Luthor who is a good guy in this universe

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Superman was both incredibly weakened, and Alfred had taken a "super pill" (that's what the progress bar was copying).

10 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 1

Alfred is Pale Hulk...jesus doesn't anyone read comics anymore?

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

no they just wank off to the shitty reeboot movies. its sad.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

In the injustice comics, superman makes a "super strength" pill that lets people be as strong as him. Batman stole one and Alfred used it.

10 years ago | Likes 82 Dislikes 0

Lex Luthor made it, And is also superman's best friend instead of arch-enemy and is also double crossing the superman faction to help batman

10 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Interesting how a simple gameplay mechanic has become such a vital plot point in the comic.

10 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

In the comic it is made for Lois Lane so Superman's baby doesn't kill her.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

In injustice? No it wasn't she died in like the 5th panel

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, but the pill was originally manufactured for her until she carried the baby to term

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

Well they did have to find SOME way to justify Green Arrow going toe-to-toe with Wonder Woman and winning.

10 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

I love comics but I hate most plot lines where heroes fight each other. Same reason why I am not too excited about Civil War movie...

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

It's done because people love those hypothethical "what if" scenarios, where they pit hero against hero, in order to see who'd win.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Same, but I feel like every person/character has their own definition of justice, and eventually these definitions might clash.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

True. I like a bit of argument and clashing of ideas. But actually killing each others/ fighting usually feels out of character.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well, that's the thing, with the Civil War I didn't really think it was out of character because Iron Man and Cap'n kill a LOT.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

(2 But with DC characters it does feel odd, yea. Personally I have a huge issue with the whole "Superheroes shouldn't kill" thing.

Injustice was far better than I thought it would be, well worth the read.

10 years ago | Likes 912 Dislikes 2

Yeah I enjoyed it a lot. With great power... right?

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was until year 4 started. Year 4 and 5 is complete garbage.

10 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 1

I'm with you on that.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was great but its getting pretty stale. It was great the first couple of years.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

The writer changed with Year Four from the incredible Tom Taylor to the... adequate Brian Buccellato.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That makes a lot of sense. It's still readable, but almost every new issue feels slightly more disappointing.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I still dont understand why Flash is helping superman. I mean he really doubts supermans plans all the way from the start.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Each concession he makes makes the next one just a little bit easier.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Year 5 is very disapointing so far.. It really needs to just end already. All it is now is 5 page of nothing with a fake epic teaser.

10 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

year 1-3 was good, year 4 and 5 are pretty bad thb

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, year 4 is still okay tho, year 5 is pretty awful

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is there a follow up to injustice? i read it earlier and finished wanting more

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed. Superman Vs. Batman is just an amazing idea. Why doesn't everyone on earth read comics?

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The problem with putting them against one another is that you have to completely hobble Clark for Bruce to stand even the remotest chance.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Meh, Kryptonite.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hence the "completely hobbling him". Realistically, Bruce has zero chance. Not even .00001%, literally zero.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The ONLY thing that I don't like about it is Batman's plans always going well until "Another players has entered the game" or some such.

10 years ago | Likes 222 Dislikes 0

like most superhero comics

10 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

The art is pretty bad in some spots, and knowing that this ties into the game makes a lot of twists seem contrived and overstayed.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I enjoyed most of it, though. But I don't really like where it's going right now. I think Year Four was enough.

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Batmans plans work out, thats kinda his thing.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

and of course none of SUPERMANS crew get accidentally killed. but all of batmans teammates are dropping like fucking flies.

10 years ago | Likes 104 Dislikes 1

Batman is careful not to kill anyone, just incapacitate them.

10 years ago | Likes 61 Dislikes 0

I KNOW THAT. but in combat there is still chances for accidental deaths. EX. how Helina died/doctor fate(might not be dead) but still.

10 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 1

It would be nice for batmans plans to at least sort of work. You can't add in a new player every single time.

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nit to mention how retarded captain marvels death was

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

AH SHIT i just started the first parts of year 5. i didn't know he died. BUT THANK GOD superman needed to lose an ally.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He dies in the game which the comics are a prequel to, so it's not really much of a spoiler for comics.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

so you know the comics have nothing to do with the game other then superman taking over and killing people.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Problem is the comics can't have an ending; they lead up to the game. Maybe if there were fewer years, but that means fewer comics.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

3 There are other reasons. Injustice almost caught my interest. Then I learned it's STILL NOT FINISHED and probably never will be. Fuck it.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The game takes place 5 years after the Joker incident and follows a parallel universe arc, a variation from the comic. Comic story is better

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

2 conclusion, not an initially-intriguing story that just gets goes on and on until sales peter out enough for it to be cut off, suddenly.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

1 And that's one reason I'm not interested in reading comics, especially not this one. I want a well-planned-out story arc with a satisfying

I got the issues on Google Play dawg. I have most my digital comics saved there. It may be pricy but you essentially have an immortal copy.

I'm subscribed to it on comixology. 99 cents per issue or 4.99 I believe for annuals.

You could try searching your local library system catalog, it's what I do. You can reserve books online from any library in the system 1/2

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And have them sent to your local one for pickup. I usually get 5 or 6 graphic novels each time

Can someone tell me why they were fighting in the first place?

10 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

Superman isn't so super, his power - big shock - goes to his head.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

DC Civil War, sparked by the Joker making Superman snap mentally IIRC.

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bruce banged Lois.

10 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

More like the Joker did. AMIRITE?

10 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 0

Technically, Superman did. :)

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Savage!

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Vandal had nothing to do with this. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA #DCPUNS

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

The Joker manipulates Superman into killing Lois Lane (who is pregnant with Superman's child) and that pushes him off the deep end,

10 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

and Superman basically declares himself dictator of the world, with Batman leading the opposition against him.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In the Injustice comics, superman decides that he has the right to execute criminals, because he is strong. Batman is opposed to killing.

10 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 3

thats a pretty weak summary of it haha

10 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

But accurate.

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 3

Not entirely, no.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

From where I've read to, yes. The rest is details and stuff they should read outside of a summary.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I feel like everything Injustice wants to do was already done better in Kingdom Come. This just felt like more Batman circlejerking

10 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Can't say I've read, but that makes sense.

10 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Kingdom Come is on my mantle haha. Right up there with Blackest Night and House of M

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not entirely, no.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Okay, you explain 5 years of comics + a game's worth of plot development in just 140 characters. It's not as easy as I make it look ;)

10 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

so hard

10 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Superman's wife was killed by Joker, setting him into a rage that fueled a savior complex against the human race.

10 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Not just wife, but pregnant wife.

10 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

That explanation deserves more upvotes. Have a cookie too.
