Too rich for me. How about a chunk of Millium Lake? Or Thousandium Lake if I come to my senses?

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What? They have cut gemstones in the lake?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

It came out of the ground like that. Its not cut or polished.

A millium x a millium is a trillium

Do not unmute

This one is fine to un-mute. Music is more a gentile, melodic tune than something loud, shrill, with some ass-hat blasting their voice in your ear.

Smokey quartz with…I’m guessing Rutile inside? Imperfections in quartz are rarely so linear from what I’ve seen. (Hobby nerd, not professional geologist, so I could be wrong)

Yarp. Rutilated smoky quartz.

I can't see the lake. There is a big rock in the way.

2 years ago | Likes 234 Dislikes 0

It's a sparkly rock tho so there's that

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A smoky, rutilated rock at that.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe it's a smaller rock up close

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Do you think a swallow could carry it?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It could grip it by the husk!

"The beauty of crystals lies in the planeness of their faces." Unfortunately these have been poorly polished and are no longer even flat. I prefer natural ones and small ones often have better shapes.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

Thats a double terminated rutilated quartz those facets are natural.

2 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

The facets are natural occurring but they have been polished. Please read comment before responding. They are polished, not cut.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 4

Theyre not polished either. It came out of the ground like that.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I figured you would double down. Get a book and take a geology class. It did not come out of the ground looking like that. Oh , wait, i defer to your greater understanding. How would you like to buy some dirt cheap gold?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Dude I literally cut and polish rocks for fun. Yes they come out of the ground like that. I've even found them like that! Omg but of course you're right.

If only he would fill it with info. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
