Well said! Vote to save America from Trump and Vance! Vote to save women! Just fucking vote!

Aug 18, 2024 1:29 PM

Love me some JoJofeomJerz but just to be clear, TEAM TRUMP ARE NOT LOSING. NOT BY A LOOONG SHOT. If elections were held today they would probably win the electoral college. Would be close but they would win. They only need 47% of the popular vote to win the electoral college. Dems need 51/52% . Don’t get complacent so register and VOTE BLUE UP AND DOWN THE BALLOT!!

Yes, one ticket is human, and the other is monster. You can figure it out without higher learning.

And with all that being public knowledge, mainstream media *still* says Kamala is silent on policy statements.

Trump and Vance are running on the platform that the Democrats have been cheating at elections for decades and have used their ill-gotten gains to transform our once-proud nation into a socialist, globalist, communistic welfare state where anybody too lazy or entitled to go to work is given free handouts at such an enormous cost to the rest of us that it ruins the economy and makes everything more expensive.

Trump and Vance are running on restoring the social hierarchy of the 1950’s. They should play the theme song to “All in the Family” at their rallies.

Trouble with a capital ‘T’ and that rhymes with ‘P’ and that stands for Pool!

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

If they're going to tackle price gouging on food and groceries, they're going to have to go after Kroger. They need to stop them from using their near monopolistic buying power over supplies, stop them from buying up smaller chains, and make them divest themselves of stores in towns where they account for over 55% of grocery stores. They shouldn't be the only game in town or only competitor to Walmart. And speaking of Walmart, they should be next on the list.

"Attacking childless women with cats"? Why would you attack anyone with a cat? Cats are terrible weapons!

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

to be fair Trump is also trying to eliminate healthcare programs; social security and any need to vote in future elections...

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

All republicans heard there was "communism".

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The thing is if Harris and Walz are successful then it makes the Democrats look better. So of course the Republicans have to stand against any of that.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Folks voting for trump are treating him like a lottery ticket. They want privilage without responsibility or effort. They hope if Trump wins he will deputize them, so they can go shoot their neighbor and take their stuff. They hope they become 1st class citizens while non-supporters are 2nd class citizens they can kick around, or hire as cheap labor to profit from. They're lazy. They dont' want to attack rich folks and unionize. They want permission to to punch down and rob their neighbors.

Supportive of Harris and Walz, but how can childcare and eldercare be made more affordable when raising the pay of those who work in the industry? How do we distinguish between price gouging and actual responses to changing market conditions? For example, covid and the Ukraine War fucked up the supply chain and significantly altered the markets, causing shortages and higher costs to move stuff. (A highly simplified description of the situation.) There are two things I want to see: an end to -

"right to work" laws and slashing oil subsidies to provide more funding for green alternatives and a basic minimum income. I'd also like to see the IRS better funded to enable it to go after wealthy tax cheats. If people don't have collective bargaining, they literally become slaves in all but name. Employers should not be able to control your welfare.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Here's an easy way to tell the difference between price gouging and actual responses to changing market conditions: If companies are posting record high profits, it's price gouging.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

"How can we tell it's price gouging?" When the companies doing it didn't lose a dime before raising prices. Did you think corporations like Walmart, Kelloggs, and more were about to go bankrupt?

They're also claiming Democrats are anti-family after all that shit. lol Reality has no place in the GOP.

Harris-Walz radiates joy and a plan, Trump-Vance wants your hate to grow.

Interesting tidbit... Vance used to be a Never - Trumper. Guess money and greed won out as they so often do.

The mystery is why the toxic turds aren't losing by 30 points. There are an awful lot of bigoted, willfully ignorant Foxbots out there.

So many people (like my family >_<) refuse to consider anything outside of their own bubble. If it doesn't directly affect their bottom line or their immediate community they don't want to hear about it, let alone hear about money going towards it. Good example: introduced them to several gay friends and trans friends of mine. Everyone got along, family didn't care. Trans shit pops up in their local target? Suddenly they start talking about 'protecting the children from drag queens'. PissesMeOff

As someone who's terminally online, I think a lot of people on the Internet don't realize how not terminally online a majority of people are.

Don't get complacent. Put the evil fucks in the ground first, then celebrate. Until we somehow manage a majority to legislate right-wing 1/

2016 calling: the Dem candidate is clearly more capable and qualified so no need to ALL of us to vote. Great job lazy Dems. You handed the presidency to Trump.

policies that lead to this racist, sexist, fascist ideology out of existence as a foundation of the country, this fight never ends. 2/

Team Tampax ear hasn't lost yet. Stay engaged. Get more voters out there.

I think you’re confusing the two. Trump wore a Kotex. Walz is referred to as the tampon dude.

But… if we give healthcare to all, a Mexican might get some! And if one person doesn’t pay back student loans, it’s unfair to all those that did! /s

My grandpa and uncle are voting for Trump. They refuse to believe in climate change even though they agree every year since the 90s is the hottest year ever. Every year. And because people are pouring over the border. Bad people. Very bad. Rapists, just coming here in droves from Mexico. It’s sad. They watch Fox News 24 hours a day. And it’s working perfectly.

2 years ago | Likes 40 Dislikes 0

Pull the spark plug on their cars the evening of Nov. 4th.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Boggles my mind that they can't make the connection. "The Earth is too big for us to have any effect" We did a global amount of damage to the Ozone layer, passed laws to ban CFCs, and decades later we can see the damage being reversed.
London and LA were smog cities with horrific pollution, we passed laws, it's way better now. There's thousands of times that pollution generated elsewhere, but it's fine because it just fucks off into the wind??

2 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Always fascinating how they're worried about rapists coming over the border but not one in the white house.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

And yet the polling is frighteningly close. Amazing how many people would choose cruelty over personal benefit

2 years ago | Likes 174 Dislikes 1

That’s what is so mind-boggling difficult to get my head around.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Because a percentage think the “wrong” ppl might benefit from those things

2 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Because they have been programmed to believe that all of this will somehow personally come out of their pocket, leaving them to struggle financially.

2 years ago | Likes 35 Dislikes 1

That's just it, the far right have twisted it so thoroughly they've made people believe benefits for others = less for you. It started as a bastardization of "The American Dream" (aka you can be a multimillionaire too if you worked hard!), but it's ended up as anything not Christian Nationalist is actively trying to kill you and your family. It's a level of fear mongering nationalism that I wished stayed in fictional dystopian novels.

Literally never once in my 37 years of life have I responded to any political poll, nor do I intend to, and neither has anyone I know. Polls are kinda shit these days

2 years ago | Likes 25 Dislikes 2

Polling still has its uses, but it is important to remember that demographics are almost always skewed in who is willing to answer a poll (especially political ones), which makes collecting accurate information on a large enough sample of younger, non-suburban demographics more difficult.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably because the average person hasn't heard half the shit in this post.
Between the media fucking her over and only giving her coverage when it's something she's doing to react to Trump - or a vapid celebrity endorsement - and the Democrats not only being shit at messaging, but also holding back their official platform until the DNC - probably for a poll boost that would usually come from announcing the VP pick - the average person that's only slightly paying attention would be forgiven >

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

> for thinking she hadn't announced any policy intentions at all.
Honestly, if all you knew of her campaign was just from scrolling social media - it looks like there's been almost no talk of policy at all. All you see is this or that celebrity or organization backed her, or they dunked on Trump and Vance in this new and clever way.
Hopefully they change that with the DNC, and run ads on what they want to do instead of just calling out Trump, but for now, the messaging still isn't there.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Agreed..but also, what policies are the republicans talking about? I guess if you don’t see either side talking policy you assume they’re the same?

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You do realize that younger people won't answer their phones if they don't know the caller. The only ones answering the polls are the boomers.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Yep, but I'm sure as hell not counting on that and staying home

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I want everyone to vote. I don't want anyone to see the polls and assume their vote doesn't count. This is the most important vote of our lives.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You can thank Fox News and their ilk mostly

2 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 0

Agreed, they've all been brainwashed unfortunately

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

This. People need to understand it's not just what they're filling their heads with, it's also everything they are leaving out. It's easy to believe a monster is just a man when you aren't shown what the monster does, and are told for decades that the news sources who are showing it are all fake propaganda. They literally cannot see what the rest of us see and are so appalled at. It's not an excuse, but it does help explain why the can make these choices we cannot fathom making ourselves.

Don't forget, they also want us to hand Ukraine to Russia, and Taiwan to China!

2 years ago | Likes 329 Dislikes 2

That would matter if most Americans cared about foreign policy. Reality is, studies show that most people in most countries don't actually care about foreign policy unless it involves migration (or are the very least they rate it WAY behind issues which are closer to home)

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

And transfer executive power in the the US to Russia and/or china

Ukraine? Trumpski is fine with dissolving NATO and letting Putin also attack whatever he wants.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Yep, I'm in Ireland, the domino effect that a trump presidency would have across the globe is terrifying!

2 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 1

I'm living this level of crazy so this feels normal to me. I'm terrified for what another Trump presidency could mean for the rest of the world. We're teenagers with nuclear capability. And there's a real chance we're going to vote in a clinical narcissist, again.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

That orange dumbass would happily sell all of Europe tu putain, and at the same time gleefully dismantle USA for easy picking. But it wont happen, VOTE.

Tell me, what has Walz said on the subject? I ask because he’s on record and I suspect you aren’t aware.

Doesn't matter what a politician says. The Democrats are just as pro-genocide as the Republicans.
