DatDarthCaedus
There's always a few annually popular ones depending on the most popular game/anime/movie of the year.
Yeah, agreed. Harley's been a bit of a mainstay the last few years. The last one I went to it was every 4th or 5th person :P

Epic Webcomic about 4/16/20 kids who play a game that brings on the apocalypse and a multiversal creation mythos. Great internet humor.
RandomImgurian
It's a pretty great and definitely unique webcomic with an absolutely horribly cancerous tumblr fanbase.
Please elaborate. Why is the fan base bad?
They tend to be very obnoxious (at least the ones you notice), even by tumblr standards, & I hear cosplayers have a bad reputation on cons.
It's a (now finished) webcomic that's terribly convoluted and hard to follow, that also holds the record for "most fucked up fanbase".

1/2 So I have never been to one, but I bleach skulls and make fake witch gear. Pendants, ect...and tell people who think they are wiccan.
2/? The story of how I found it or whatever. I'm actually native but I can't sell endangered species, only collect them. But I
3/? Find cool geodudes and polished gems, and fossils all around where I live and decorate them all together in sculpture
4/? Can you rent booths at cons and could I make my stuff cultured enough to sell it? Or is it super pricey and not worth it?
So I asked around, and it isn't a priciness thing, it's a connections thing. I don't have the right connections to get anything like that...

I got Comiccon plague 4 years ago. I spent 7 weeks in ICU. SANITIZER YOUR DAMN HANDS!

This is going to sound gross, but here it is. I'm a certified national health manager with NEHA. To break it down, I know all of the 1/2
2/2 disgusting things. Hand sanitizer does not work. Not at all. You're far better off with Dawn dish soap and baking soda. Trust me.
ImaSithDuh
I'm going to WonderCon this weekend. I've been doing all I can to prepare my immune system, plus a jug of hand sanitizer.
ButteryCommissar
As a stall holder; Try not to eat right after handling money you got back from a vendor, who got it from the unwashed masses.
Oh gods no. Full decontamination before that.
HarryHamwallet
is it seriously that gross at these things?
It's the constant handshakes that does it.
TheIceMaiden
No. Then again, I stay in a hotel with three other people and we all shower daily. There are hotel rooms with 10+ people crammed into (1/2)
them, and I'm sure that's when the chances of infection sky-rocket. Also, there are people who don't sleep, eat, or drink water at (2/3)
cons. That and the constant exposure to other people ruins your immune system. (3/3)
ThrobbinHoodz
