So the lowest point of the week was the news that the US let USAID food stocks go to waste and burnt condoms and stuff. Belgium even offered to buy the condoms and stuff stocks, and France forbade them to burn it. The food were biscuits or something to feed kids stocked somewhere in the Middle East. And they just let them lay there until they were after the expiration date. It made me cry inside.

Apparently, people can “buy” spells and hexes on Etsy, and a couple of days before the shooting, an article was posted that reported some “witches” on Etsy had been hired to “curse” Kirk, but the “witches” are now saying they just wanted to cause him pimples, not death. It’s dumb.

I often find it hard to catch up on the news. Even just looking at a single source like the NYT's, there are like a dozen news articles about it. The one labeled "What you need to know" is already three days old and likely missing a bunch of more recent information.

Iunno, when people were talking about the transgender liberal that killed Charlie Kirk started a civil war, I wasn’t going to go out on my rainbow bicycle for a ride. …then of course they found out it was an ultra-conservative from their own party that did it, and the ride was back on.
