Put it in the palm of your hand so you don't lose fingers

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah did that later on, had learn the "hard" way. She gave my thumb a little by accident. Spooked her more than me.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Did you let him know that andross has declared war?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Guys I got a heckton more clips of this buddy if you're interested!

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If it was an American fox it probably wouldve shot you

8 years ago | Likes 87 Dislikes 10

Or Dick Cheney would have shot you while feeding it.

Is this Garbage the Fox??? Did he say grace before eating?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I made sure of that also I blessed the cherry I gave her ;)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sly as a fox in July.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Don't feed wildlife...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Woke up to one of them "barking" right outside my window last night at 3am. It was the worst sound I've ever heard.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

ring-ding-ding-dingeringeding?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah it really gives you the heebie jeebies, especially if you don't know what's causing it!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Don't feed wildlife. Number 1 rule of encountering wildlife.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 3

You now have rabies

8 years ago | Likes 155 Dislikes 6

That one ain't rabies or scab infested.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

Atleast she didn't try bite my mouth off or claw my eyes out, so I think we're cool!

8 years ago | Likes 32 Dislikes 3

Rabies would be foaming and drooling and bizarre aggressive behavior.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Or unnaturally friendly behavior for a wild animal

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Off topic don't feed pigeons they carry up to 60 diseases( source : studying microbiology this summer)

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

Finland has been officially free from rabies since 1991

8 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 2

"officially"

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Onkko noin?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I love foxes but I was also warned about the rabies thing... why is it so prevalent in foxes?

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

Finnish foxes don't have rabies

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They just really like it is all.

8 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 0

So there are several strains of rabies. Foxes, racoons, skunks, and bats happen to make up a good portion of american wildlife...1

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Another fun fact, racoons are more susceptible to rabies and distemper. Not parvo though, go figure.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Another fun fact opossums are immune to rabies

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Shame on you! Do NOT feed wild animals! "City" or not!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

Why are we feeding wild animals again?

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 5

https://yle.fi/uutiset/3-9615432 its "good to have" in cities. Put that in google translate.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

That was an great article, thank you!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I know we shouldn't but she was already eating out of trash bins. Also she was cute as heck!

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 4

So, you should be scaring her away from trash bins. You should not be encouraging the behaviour further.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 6

It's a city fox, that's how it survives. Kinda same that I would come scaring you when you try eat cookies in your bed.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Tell her I said hello!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'll do that!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Who the fuck is upvoting this?? Don't feed wild animals!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 8

I also have a semi tame fox where I live, I hand feed it, and even gets to touch it while it eats, it took me 3 month to get to that point

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Living the dream I see! This one was also pretty shy, took two days to convince her to eat from my hand.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

The eating from the hand is the easy part, petting it requires trust, PS I also got bitten in my thumb, but just a friendly nibble.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I sure believe that! Imo the nibble is just cute

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Open palm feeding you doink. That's how you get nipped...

8 years ago | Likes 180 Dislikes 1

You doink. I'm gonna use that

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

She actually gave my thumb a little nibble, but I call that bonding.

8 years ago | Likes 69 Dislikes 5

Nb4 op dies of rabies or something.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

Still kicking you ain't getting rid of me that easily!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Are you dead yet

7 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I turned into foxboi!

6 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"You taste like arse, ima have this instead"

8 years ago | Likes 45 Dislikes 0

I thought animals love arse?

8 years ago | Likes 19 Dislikes 2

Their own species only, generally. This isn't Washington

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

Oh shit, my bad!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Where in Finland? Theres a lady missing her fox in Norway. Instagram is Aylathefox

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Now looking at pics it's probably not her, but any of you Nords keep an eye out!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

It was near Helsinki, so not the same fox. I respect your concern tho!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I saw one fox in way to Tromsö, gave it sausage. It was 1998 tho so probably not same.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

What yah feed them

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

She really liked cherries!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Be careful feeding them too many cherries. Cherries contain trace amounts of cyanide that can be harmful if she consumes too many of them.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

No worries gave her only a few

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is this a wild fox?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah man, that's what makes it even more awesome!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Me thinking about not being able to hug all the foxes...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They may approach another human with more confidence, thinking food is available. That can get them killed.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Finland has foxes in cities and they are beneficial and hunting/killing non "outlaw" animals is illegal in cities.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

And people/goverment are chill about those, no rabies in finland and they keep rabbits etc in bay.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

It's a cool experience, for sure! Having direct contact with wild animals actually threatens their lives though.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As I been saying that it's a Finnish cityfox so it's a bit different story. Also the harm is pretty much already done when she comes up tome

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You know I am required by internet law to be the asshole that tells you not to feed wild animals, no matter how adorable, right?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

You have all the right to be as asshole as you desire, but I also want to point out that it's a Finnish cityfox so it's a bit different.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

You... have foxes in your cities instead of pigeons? I am in the wrong country.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

We have pigeons too, we hope foxes eat those tho :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

We have native grey foxes in Texas USA and feed them raw chicken on a rock, but not by hand.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 1

That's awesome!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 2

Now they have salmonella and you have rabies

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

My mom had a den in her backyard and we'd leave eggs for them sometime. They'd bark when they were hungry and wanted us to bring some out.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

our foxes would also bark when they were hungry after dark, it was so funny, like they were talking to us! :)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Awesome! It was so surprising the first time I heard it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

dances with foxes! LOL

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

As someone who's had a fox as a pet, to people who currently want one. They stink. All the time. You can't get rid of the stink ever.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not such a problem for an outdoor animal, but you won't get the smell out of your couch easily if you let it inside. Also they bite a lot.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Thought it would be such a nice pet, but that what I've been hearing, is it really that bad?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Eh, they're like a cross between a nippy jack Russel and a cat. They're more playful and obedient than a cat, less than a dog.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That sounds actually kinda nice
