my buddy had one in New Orleans and let it swim in the MS river to cool off... the dog turned greygreen. Still smiled though.

Can confirm. Had a Sammy and, if you laid on the floor, she'd go and throw herself atop you...if you wanted that to happen or not. : )

This makes me happy. Finally a breeding purpose I can get behind - cuddles! Not making deformities like poor munchkin cats, just for cutenes

Can confirm. I have a samojed bitch, and she looooooves snuggles

My Samoyed does this but also insists on bring outside all the time so I have to sleep with a door to the outside open, so my house is cold

Can confirm I had a Sammy and she was the best.

Perfect hug clouds.

Hope you like extra fluff in the air, on your clothes, and always stuck in the back of your throat.

Wwish my dog would accept the snuggles, she just gets anxiety from it and tries to escape. Real bad times with her last owner make now hard

Awesome doggo

My sammy slept in my bed every winter snuggled up to me, and he let kids in public hug him (w/ permission.) They are amazing dogs.

I thought it says warning dog.

My GSD does this. I’m his 4th home. Don’t know why he’s so sweet being passed around so much but he sure loves his snuggles and hugs!

I like to imagine that Thor wanted that, so Loki cheated to beat a rigged game to get it for him.

That broke my wife. Thanks guy!

The candidate we need, but don't deserve...

Seen dozens of times, but still the most inspirational thing ever.

Coconut Rice Bear!! She’s the goodest cloud!!

I want one but I live in Arizona, it would probably not have a good time with the heat here

Depends what part, their fur also keeps them cool for awhile. It was awesome how cool his fur was sometimes after being out in the sun

I have a friend that had 2 of them in Tempe and they were 100% indoors so they were pretty much fine.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Do they shed a lot?

5 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

They definitely sled a lot

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

"a lot" is an understatement. We had to brush ours daily to keep it under control.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Only all their fur three times daily everywhere in your house.

5 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Nah, don't worry about it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I know you were just asking a serious question but I laughed a lot. They shed a whole other dog worth of fur.

Pardon my ignorance, but how does that work? Just cuz my dad is a carpenter doesn't mean I'm born knowing how to handle a table saw...right?

From what I remember from school- animals are highly instinctual where humans are not as much so.

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I can't remember where but I think I read that early research hints that we might have epigenetic adaptation memory.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Example: my indoor cat who has never been outside still wants to hunt birds even though he has a full food bowl. Instinct.

Bred for traits also helps.

Every samoyed I've ever met was like this.

5 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Mine just be broken. He doesn't like cuddles and won't sleep on the bed. He only accepts scratches and kisses and treats. Not hugs.

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

are you sure he's not a disguised Maine Coon?

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I want alllll the snuggles

5 years ago | Likes 531 Dislikes 2

Always with the foot in the nads.

5 years ago | Likes 78 Dislikes 0

Every time, with every pound of weight.

5 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 0

Or boobs. Either or. When it comes to The Zoomies, no one and nothing is safe.

5 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

But their aim is always on point. It’s never, “Oh, just missed it.”

5 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

My cat is terrible when it comes to the “let me put my full weight right on the most sensitive part of your boobs” thing. >

5 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

How dare you compare the sensitivity of your boobs to nads? Women have made me treat boobs like dodge balls, no man wants ping pong nuts. ?

5 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

>And he’s also got that “round stocky body with TINY paws” problem, too.
